Good traditional Turkish bread & the breakfast pastries are delicious. They do nice take home biscuits that are really nice.

Anyway, there's a shopping strip on Barry Road, not far from the Hume Hwy/Sydney Road..
WOW... there are some serious eateries here - I intend to explore them all, one by one...
One of these eateries had to be ventured into today, even though I had my arms full of foot-long Turkish kebabs - BARRY ROAD BAKERY, Campbellfield...
They had some beautiful looking doughnuts - plain, sugared, jam filled, chocolate filled, nutella filled, creamed...
I could have bought a heap of stuff... everything looked wonderful...
Breads, Rolls, Biscuits, Simit, Boregs, Boreks, Pide, Gozleme, Baklava, Rice Pudding et al
Did buy:
2 x Large Cheese and Spinach Pide
4 x Long Baguette Rolls
4 x Simit [big bread rings studded with sesame seeds]

Just loved the look of the assorted savoury filled pastry diamonds in those massive baking trays...!!!
They're open 24 hours - the shop assistant told us they are busiest late at night and very early in the morning - locals coming to buy goods straight out of the ovens...
We'll be back... Absolutely... Will go at about 3am and make an adventure of it...!!!

This bakery makes probably the best simit in the Northern Suburbs. It's convenient how they are open 24 hours so you can come at any time of the day. If you if you come at the right time when they just freshly make the Simit it tastes fantastic. Customer service here is good. There is a lot of different variety of bread types to choose from. The sesame seed on top of the simit bread taste delicious when you first bite it. Remember the key to a awesome simit bread is getting it when freshly baked.
This is a great restaurant. I have visited it multiple times. The staff is friendly and helpful. Go there for authentic Thai food with a good variety on offer
If you are hungry, but not that hungry or perhaps on a budget and looking for best bang for buck then this is it right here. They offer simit sandwiches which ive seen no other bakery offer amongst a wide variety of other delicious foods you can carry out and eat on the go.
May i emphasize that the foods here are quite delicious and not to be overlooked. Cheap food and high quality. Thats a 5 from me.
