This is like my second home here and reading the comments here makes me heat broken. This is an authentic Chinese restaurant, so order something authentic Chinese before you comment. Chinese food isn't just about dumplings and fry noodles!! and for my experience in Melbourne, there is NO authentic dumplings you can get.
Good Place to go. I went there with my friend for a quickly lunch. They have a special lunch menu, and most of meals are under $10. We were so happy to have many options. Dumpling was very yummy and tasty, deep fried chicken on rice was so good. Few days later, we went back again for dinner. Their food were amazing, stir fried crispy beef is highly recommend , won't be disappointed!
Goof value and great variety. I live around here and am one of the first to sample their dishes, since then I keep coming back! There is so much that is good here. Rice dishes and homemade dumplings under $10. I also tried their cook meat and veges dishes such as the spicy chili chicken, braised beef with potatoes, chicken with cashew, sweet sour pork, mapo tofu etc. They are all great, and I have plenty of left overs for tomorrow's lunch. Chatted to the chef and he has been a chef in China for over 20 years. I am Chinese myself and the variety of Chinese food here is very impressive, and so far live up to my expectations. If you live around the west and north Melbourne this is a must to try. My next item to try - smoked tea duck and black bean beef. Overall this place will do well if they keep the chef!
Pretty great establishment for Chinese food in this part of the CBD. Very large sized portions and food that is cooked and prepared very well. Pricey but well worth it.
Amazing portion! Good price, fast service, tasty every time we ordered. Some spicy dishes can be salty so recommend with rice. Many dishes to choose from. Love the braised beef ribs, so yummy. Def Coming back to try other dishes.
Gem of a place, I live nearby and have Chicken and Vegetables on rice once a week. Also, their spring rolls are one of the best in Melbourne.

My family had been seeing this little restaurant for a couple of years, and then we as usual, like to try the underdog, and might end up surprised. It was near closing time, so it was quite quiet, tended by two hard working personnel’s, owner (cook) and another cook.
Don’t let the exterior fool you, the presentation was not bad and the taste not bad as well. We finished everything. I loved the salt and pepper pork (always ordered what I know, not that challenging, but then it will easier to judge 😛) and the chili fish. The fish was amazing, smooth, soft and a little manageable-hot.
As always, don’t believe everything on internet, judge for yourself, everyone has different expectation and taste buds. Cheers.
