Richmond - though famous for hipsters and IT-crowd, lacks decent pubs/bars that serve proper (not mass-produced) brews. Everyone these days serve that overrated Furphy - not because that is what everyone wants to drink; but because it is owned/marketed by a big conglomerate that acquired 50% of "craft" beer makers in last few years. Not at Holliava; this place offers Four Pines Pale Ale & Kolsch, Goose Island IPA and Kaiju. Happy hours are on Tue/Wed/Thu (selected taps) from 5-8pm and 4-7pm on Fridays (all taps).
No-frills venue with nice courtyard; one small grievance though - the courtyard is pretty much fully covered and people were allowed to smoke, which'll make non-smokers super uncomfortable (and probably will fast track the lifeline of smokers).
No kitchen - no problem because Holliava encourages you to order via UberEats, which means you could order food of your choice without having to put up with the expensive and tasteless food some surrounding watering holes have on offer.
Good place to go for drink. Nice decor and you can order pizza from across the street and have it delivered which is pretty helpful if you get a bit peckish!
BYO Food!!!. Amazing little bar. nice drinks and a few well knowledge staff members.
I found there range of spirits and beers quiet basic, but very nice cocktails.

Great Bar!. Fantastic little bar with fun little nooks and crannies and rooms everywhere! Outdoor area has been renovated to give a plush, tropical feel. Great vibe!
Vibrant venue with a pool table right across from Richmond Station. Heaps of cocktails and so much seating. Great venue to enjoy the beer garden before the footy or even a have a function there as there is so much space. Staff are so funny and friendly to banter with!
Always a great place to begin for the AAMI Park NRL or Super Pacific Rugby games!!!

Amazing staff and amazing cocktails. The passionfruit martini is a must and all staff are so kind and helpful. Perfect place for a function or after work cocktails!!!
Was here for the new year, could see some of the fireworks from the front open window seating area. Drinks were reasonably priced and there is plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs as well as an open sky courtyard out the back. Great location directly opposite the Richmond train station makes it very convenient to get to.
