A little disappointed with no chicken/vegetarian dumpling options but can't complain about the king pao chicken I bought. It was worth my money in terms of both taste and the portion size. Ended up eating 1 portion for 2 meals.
The fried pan dumplings and the sour plum drink are very well made, it's not fancy but classical chinese street food.
This was a great find in a city that’s rammed with dumpling options. It’s on Exhibition Street on that quiet stretch and is never overly busy. Anyways, we headed in and it was well worth it! We had the xiao long bao which were very good. But it’s the pan fried dumplings (which like the xiao long bao, have soup between the filling and the skin - which is pan fried). I can’t remember the name for these but we’ve had them at a few places and they’re my fav! Spring onion pancakes and prawn har gao were also top notch. Will definitely be back!
Small shop up on exhibition street right next to the theater. The fried rice was pretty average and the garlic cucumber is very disappointing for us. It was drenched in their sauce but lacking the vinegar and garlic flavour. The truffle dumplings are unique and surprisingly very good.
Everything we ordered was delicious, especially the pan fried pork dumplings. Must order the pan fried dumplings!
The pork bun looks different to the usual ones that we know. It’s slightly smaller in size (sorry didn’t take photo) and the skin seems to taste similar to dumpling skin. The pan fried dumplings is pretty good. However the “ma lak” spicy chicken rice is lacking the hot peppers taste and is quite bland.
Pan fried dumpling was amazing! Crispy outside and juicy inside. The only disappointment is the limited food options. Other than that, all good.

Quick and efficient service. A fantastic place for a good feed and quick lunch. We ordered a few plates of the pan fried dumplings - vegetarian, pork and chicken. The broth inside the dumplings was steaming hot, but so delicious! Don’t burn your mouth!
We dropped by Yang’s Dumplings for dinner on the weekend and had a very pleasant experience.
As we were pretty hungry, we ordered quite a lot of dishes between the 3 of us.
The one thing you have to try here are their famous Pan-fried Pork Buns. Wow, these were very impressive! Thick fluffy skin, piping hot and juicy filling - they sure were some very plump dumplings! The bottom was fried crispy and it was just perfect! Be careful when you eat these though - I bit into one and the soup came squirting out all over the table!
I would also recommend the Truffle Xiao Long Bao - I really enjoyed them and the truffle flavour was quite mild. Again, very juicy and full of soup!
This is easily one of my favourite dumpling spots in the city. The dumplings are beautifully made, not too doughy, and has a good portion of filling. The original pork dumplings are a must try. But you need to be careful when eating them as the soup inside the dumpling can get messy when you bite into them. They are delicious with a bowl of vinegar and chilli. The panfried dumplings and noodles were also really delicious.
