Any place that does a Cubano / Cuban Style sandwich has my vote. Any place that does it well - gets an extra vote.

Had a great sub at Jon Smith's, Cajun smoked chicken bomb was absolutely delicious! Really tastes like what I've had in the states, bread is soft and ingredients were fresh!
I recommend this place as I've been back twice in 2 days!

Had the smoked Cajun and the Rueben. Everything was fresh and delicious. The buns we're soft and chewy just the way I like it. BEST SUBS IN MELBOURNE!
Cold Meat Italian Sub was delicious give that a 5/5....Had a hot one as well steak something forgot but it was decent 4/5. Crushes subway. Going to be eating this regulary hopefuly if it stays on deliveroo....
Husband and i shared a italian cold cuts sub and it was soooo good. Our 2yr old loved the chips. We cant wait to come back and try their hot subs

My wife and I popped in here the other day and walked out wanting more. We shared two subs. One the steak bomb that was bloody good, just like a philly cheese steak on a nice soft sub roll. We also had the Italian steak which blew my mind. Yes, it was that good and more! The marinara sauce on the steak, cheese, onion and pepper was amazing!
I can not wait to come back
Absolutely enjoyed the food here, its a bit on the pricey side but 100% worth it. The bread and all the fillings melt beautifully in your mouth with amazing flavour.
With most of the eateries closed due to covid in The District, Jon Smith has remained open for take away. The subs are cooked fresh and there are quite a few options to choose from. Even though they were quite busy, customer service was great. We got a 12 inch "the bomb" and it was quite tasty. The bread was soft and the filling was generous.
Had the steak bomb, plus chips. Great bread and ingredients, especially the steak, they’ve really nailed that. Delicious! Chips were not just doused in salt either, so I actually was able to enjoy those. Also surprised as all the food wrapping was 100% recyclable, which I think is great.
