Aunty Franklee was a casual Malaysia restaurant serving traditional Malaysian cuisine. My favourite dish was of course, their bak kut teh; it was very herbaly, flavourful and comforting. Their rice dishes were pretty average, but their noodle dishes were pretty good. Ambiance was nice and cozy, service was friendly and prompt.
their dry bak keut teh is the best i’ve everrr had in melbourne but today we tried their fried mee hoon and their fried chicken with blue pea flower rice! both of them were pretty good but i would strongly recommend just ordering their og dry bak keut teh and soup bak keut teh!!

Grabbed Char Kuey Teow ($14.5) & Bak Kut Teh ($10).
Decided to pop by after hearing about this place so many times. I absolutely enjoyed Char Kuey Teow - slightly oily but VERY flavorful, tons of meats, and great texture. I can't get enough of it! Slightly expensive considering the portion but still tasted amazing :) Bak Kut Teh was quite average considering all the good reviews I've been getting. It was bland and lacked flavors. Overall, highly recommend this place!
