This is far more than a regular food store!!!
It's the only food store in Beacon Cove and good for a cold drink and ice cream in summer and for your last minute or emergency groceries, fruit and veggies, if you can't be bothered with driving down to the main supermarket and shops in Bay Street.
You can also pickup the daily newspaper or a magazine, as well as your Tattslotto ticket, Met Cards and Phone Cards in the newsagency. Believe it or not you can also get a fishing licence here and buy fishing tackles, bait, hooks and sinkers!! There's also a Westpac ATM at the front of the store.
I've had a coffee here which was pretty good but haven't tried the food.
Good selection, but like most IGA Supermarkets, the costs are ~20-30% greater than Coles/Woolworths.
Parking is free for the 1st hour.
Handy little market in the middle of tourist prices. An oasis of normal. Lovely to drop in here for a cool drink and an ice cream in summer without paying through the nose at the local spots.
