I found this to be really fresh and of great quality. Perhaps it could have been a little more plentiful but it definitely hit the spot. I went for the chicken pita pocket. There was a dollop of hummus on the plate and a spoonful of veggies. The pita pocket was fresh and fluffy and the meat was juicy and delicious. Really enjoyed this!
Lomah in the ELLA Dining precinct is a nice easily accessible place for some simple Mediterranean food.
I had the falafel in pita with mild sauce. The mild sauce was quite bland. Most of the pickled veggies were on the top so by the time I got to the middle it was basically just falafel and hummus (this still tasted good though). It might have been better to get the bowl option so that I could have gotten a bit of everything in each bite.
But for great food from the land of milk and honey, Lomah ticks the right boxes!
The flavours of Tel Aviv have arrived to the ELLA food precinct and I was keen to check it out. Their menu is mostly comprised of trays and pita, both of which have similar ingredients.
I went the pita route with lamb. The bread has its tip cut off and stuffed with lean lamb, pickles, dill, labne and a couple other goodies. It's not going to beat a nice fatty piece of lamb but at the same time I appreciated their healthier take on the pita as I didn't feel bogged down afterwards. It felt fresh and bright with the herbs and pickles used. I also polished off some fries lightly dusted in za'atar, very subtle flavour and crisp.
I didn't check their counter but there were some accompaniments available, including the tips of the pita. Taking me back to Miznon again, sigh.
