First time trying Brazilian food and I am not disappointed! The cafe is beautifully decorated with bits and pieces of things that is true to the Brazilian culture as exampled by a Brazilian friend who took me here.
Food was delicious and of great quality! Would love to be back to try out the other mains.
I fell in love with Brazilian food (particularly Bahia cuisine) when I sampled some in the UK, and was super excited to stumble across Bossa Nova.
I'm not a connoisseur of Brazilian fare by any stretch of the imagination, but what you get here is authentic (it has to be as all the staff are Brazilian!). Had the Moqueca which was wonderful - loved the tangy flavours. Coffee is great too. Best of all, the staff are warm, welcoming and proud to showcase their culture to Australians. Can't wait to come back and try the other dishes on the menu - they all sound delicious. Keep up the good work!

We found this very cute and authentic Brazilian ๐ง๐ท cafe in Carlton and Henry wanted to give it a try when I mentioned they serve coxinha (Brazilian fried manioc snack) ๐ so we've decided to celebrate his birthday having brunch there ๐
We had escondidinho de carne seca (cured salty meat with cheese and mashed potato) and muqueca (Barramundi stewed in brazilian spices and sauces) ๐ฝ๏ธ and Bombocado (Brazilian coconut based cake) for dessert ๐ฅฅ I was impressed with the quality of the dishes, which were cooked to perfection! It wouldn't be any different if you were in any eatery in Brazil ๐ ๐
Very nice and homey decoration with lots of furniture that you would only find in a traditional brazilian home. You can tell that they thought of every detail when you find pages of Turma da Mรดnica (Brazilian comic book) on the wall behind the toilet ๐ and Gina (Brazilian brand) toothpicks on the tables. ๐

Outstanding customer service. I am originally from Brazil and I am mind blown with the authenticity of their meals and how incredible they have been at bringing some truly Brazilian Meals as part of their Specials. Definitely recommend it if you are looking for an authentic Brazilian experience!
Amazing Brazilian place!! :) Great location and the food tastes absolutely incredible. We will definitely come back to try more. The staff is super friendly and it feels homely and it reminds me of a lot of Brazil. A must-go jam in the heart of Carlton.
Authentic Brazilian food. The PF is amazing, picanha very tasty, tropeiro also very good.
Coxinha was well crumbed/fried with very good dough.

Best genuine Brazilian food in Melbourne! Love this place and looking forward to seeing what they do with their already fantastic menu! I recommend their coxinha, pao de queijo (cheese bread) and their fejoada (pork and bean stew) - they have done a great job of recreating these dishes to be exactly like what you get in Brazil. Delicious and different!
