I had the Lamb Mandi for the first time for takeaway dinner and my god.. it was heavenly. I opened the lid of the container and went straight for the big delicious piece of lamb lying ever so succulently on the bed of fragrant rice. As soon as my knife touched the lamb, it envisioned its unfortunate future of coming home to its knife family, a knife partner, two knife children and a baby knife sister on the way, and having to break the news to them that today.. Daddy knife lost his job. The lamb was THAT tender that all you need is a fork/spoon/hand and it’s a one way ticket to lamb heaven. The rice itself was fabulous, perfect texture and thoroughly seasoned. It also came with the option of almonds and raisins to mix in with everything else, that just added another layer of texture into the meal, along with the tomato chutney thing I’m not sure what that was called but damn that was tasty too. Stuffed Lamb.. I’ll be back.

Both were really good and very filling, ambiance was okay. May be if the owner can try to be little polite I am sure this place will attract lot of attention.

My husband and I travelled a month through the Middle East and North Africa in 2018! We are pretty knowledgeable when it comes to Middle Eastern Food!
We have eaten a lot of Middle Eastern Food in our time, from overseas, to friends to restaurants!
I can’t believe I am saying this but we just ate the best Manssaf we have ever eaten! Even over the one we had in Amman, Jordan 🇯🇴

The quality of the lamb was absolutely outstanding. The yogurt had so much flavour. The rice and the texture worked brilliantly with the soft and yoghurty lamb.
The Chicken Mandi and the flavours from the spices was out of this world. The chicken was super soft, juicy and a generous serving for the price.
Talal the owner welcomes us with open arms and guaranteed we will be returning and talking about this experience for weeks on end!
Don’t expect a endless options on the menu, we loved this! The stars on the menu just shine! You don’t need a huge menu when the food is this good!
If you have never tried the real traditional food of the Middle East - than Stuffed Lamb is a must visit for you!

Really loved this place, usually crowded at lunch time but waiting for their mandi is worth!!
Ordered the saudi kabsa chicken & lamb through UberEats. Really liked the chicken & the lamb as they were cooked so tender. I didn’t really feel the need for those noodles in the dish. Apart from that both the kabsa’s were tasty and pretty stomach filling.
We had the two different dishes available, the chicken mandi and the jordanian lamb mansaf and they were both delicious. The meat was so succulent and tender. The mansaf has a rice like risotto and an incredibly tasty pouring yoghurt sauce. The mandi is like biryani. So very filling! The host was very welcoming and helpful. He loves his food and it shows.
Can be said to be in the top 3 Mandi in Melbourne and the lamb can be argued to be the best. Very authentic very flavorous it's a total feast for the tastebuds.
Mandi in the Arabic mean 'dew', and here it reflects the moisty ‘dewy’ texture of the meat.
The chicken was nice and tender and soft with crispy skin full of delicious and heartwarming Mandi Masala laid on bed of aromatic Rice and decoration of wonderful dry fruits complementing the entire dish.
One would say it is just like Indian Biryani but once you've even had a spoonful of this delicious dish you'd be transported to a land far more rooted with the cuisine.
Really loved the dish.
