Love a nice quick nandos meal. Got my usual classic wrap with tenderloins and mild peri peri sauce. I was going to take a better photo of it, but when I put it down on the plate after a bite, it suddenly fell apart. So here's a pic of the 'deconstructed classic wrap' lol.
Amazing for those who enjoy spicy grilled chicken, as Nando's has friendly staff and is a family friendly area it is truely amazing how hard the staff work to provide an absolutely amazing experience for all.
I am really not a fan of Peri-peri but I gave Nando’s a try after not having it for more than 12 months since I had it for the first time last year. My first impression was that everything is spicy. But no, apparently if you are the type of person like me who hates so much spices, Nando’s is not bad at all. With the suggestion of a friend, I ordered Chicken with only BBQ sauce which is 0% spicy and chips without the Peri-peri salt.
Surprisingly, I liked what I ordered. The chips are freshly cooked with just enough salt and the chicken pieces are full of flavour. I love the BBQ sauce but I think the chicken pieces are quite small. Nevertheless, I was impressed with how they religiously clean and even sanitise the tables after customers leave which for me is very important.
A really good place to go if u like gilled chicken. But one pity for me is the extra spicy is not spicy for me at all. Overall it tastes good.
I always go back to Nandos as I appreciate how consistent they are with their food.
My favourite things to get at Nandos are the: Classic Pita, BBQ Thigh pieces, and the sweet potato chips!
This time I got the thigh pieces with BBQ basting- which in my opinion is the best basting to use on their thigh pieces. It was grilled just to the right amount and tasted juicy.
Chips were fresh and almost overflowing in the bowl. They were very generous with their chip portions!

This is my fave Nando's in the CBD. The food is always great and arrives quickly and they go the extra mile with the service, always being friendly and helpful. It used to be really quiet too, so I was kind of sad last time we visited it had become much busier, however, good for them on a job well done!
We love nandos, its basically our first choice when we go out for take away as a family. Our go to meal is the tear and share with half a chicken and large chips. The chips are delicious with the chicken salt and we believe the portion is quite generous.
