I’ve had take away from Guzman y Gomez several times over the last few months.
I have had the pulled pork burrito and the slow cooked beef burrito. I prefer the slow cooked beef over the pork (the beef is a lot more flavoursome whereas the pork is a little bland). The burritos have lots of filling but I think they would be even better with more salsa.
I have also had nachos with slow cooked beef, which I really like. They are a generous serving size and are loaded with toppings. I’ve also tried the spicy slow cooked beef which unfortunately isn’t as spicy as I expected.
The fries here are awesome - the seasoning is delicious.
Very affordable prices too.

Fresh and delicious tacos and burritto every singke visit. All the protein are delicious, but my favourite is definitely the chicken extra spicy. Staffs are energetic and friendly.

First time I have had GYG and was pleasantly surprised! I got a mini enchilada with pulled pork. The pork was so flavoursome and the avocado on top was nice and tangy. For people who are not absolutely starving, I would definitely recommend getting a mini of any of the meals because I couldn’t even finish that!

I think there’s going to be a lot of Guzman in my life over the next month as I attempt to lose some pesky overindulgence kilos. I think the burrito bowls are pretty healthy aside from maybe the corn chips they wedge into the container which I do try not to eat. I probably should just say no corn chips as inevitably I do tend to down them, I mean it’s just corn right? Freshly made and full of flavour you can’t really go wrong

The Mini Burrito Bowl with pan fried barramundi is an amazing dish with great value, at only $8.50 you are well fed and nourished enough. Enjoy the sauces which you can add to your own pleasure. Only thing that needs improvement are the chopped coriander kept on the self service bar, it's brown most of the time.

Enchilada is simply mind blowing. I am happy gyg has mini dishes now. Spicy veg enchilada is my go-to. I think I could eat it every single day.

The reason I love GYG- Hawthorn is not necessarily to do with the food but the value. I suggest ordering a bowl with all the free extras. If you are ordering to take back home, grab some of their complimentary salsas and when home, whip up your own Pico de Gallo and Guac. Crumble Greek Feta or Queso Fresco over your meal and it will be elevated to a new level. I keep Pinto beans and chipotles and various Mexican herbs on hand to add to the bowl. Yum, yum!

I love this place. Amazing service and amazing food! My go to is the burrito which is delicious. Nachos are also very nice. However the chips could be improved.

Great lunch today.Ordered the burrito bowl with brown rice, chicken and added avocado. Fresh flavours, filling and reasonably cheap. First time trying guzman y gomez and i will return !

We had picked up orders through the web. I had an amazing experience at this franchise. The food was great, perfectly seasoned and 🍲 bowl serving is huge and filling nicely they also offer extra sauces. We had a spicy burrito bowl that was so delicious and mouth-watering. We understand they are very busy but they try to there best to satisfy all customers .

Fast and fresh. Love GYG! Hawthorn is my go to store. Only downside is that they don’t include cutlery in the bag every time. Again today I took my click and collect order and got to the park to have it but couldn’t, because no cutlery.
