I got some home delivery from Roll'd Victoria Gardens. The food arrived on time and the quality was excellent.
I shared a Banh Mi, Goi, Soilders, Bao Buns, and some crispy prawn crackers.
What a feast it was. Everything was so fresh and tasty. And with a good range of vegetarian options I was impressed.
Previous review March 4/5
I wanted to try this place after having been to this shop in the CBD. The Vietnamese rolls were fresh and tasty.
The service was ok, but one thing that I did notice was that not all of the Vietnamese rice paper rolls were included on the price list. Just like the soft shell crab and the duck that I brought haha
Mmnn of course the 2 rolls that I brought were the most expensive but that was ok.
I tried the citrus mayonnaise sauce which was really good and the chilli sauce (and I was warned that it was spicy) well this blew my socks off hahaha... phew!! Spicy it was!!
Overall it was really good food in a place that has a limited choice of healthy options.
Chicken pho is lovely, with tasty broth that doesn’t leave you thirsty after. Though expensive at $12.50 with little chicken in it, having said that well cooked an not dry although it’s chicken breast. Generous with the bean sprouts. Haven’t tried anything else so this review is based only on the chicken pho.
I visited Roll'd Vic Gardens on a lunch break with a friend. Even though it was over lunch time, service was very prompt.
I had two low carb tofu soldiers and one low carb barramundi solider. Both were nice, I favoured the tofu though. Hoisin and chilli mayo sauces mixed together is really good to dip the soldiers in.
However, I think the soldiers are a little over priced.
We've tried Roll'd now 3 or 4 times, at different locations - and you know, for a cuisine that's not that easy to make in a 'fast food' style - these guys are actually doing a pretty bad*ss job! I'd have to say, being Vietnamese myself, I didn't expect much when we first tried - but we've both been very impressed with the overall quality and flavours. So much so, it's equal-to-surpassing a lot of actual Viet restaurants out there who water down the flavours and ingredients to save a penny. Sure, nothing's gonna beat real home cooked Viet food - like many cuisines, it's best when it's truly fresh and made on the spot (but kudos for Roll'd for making much of their stuff fresh - although rice paper rolls do 'age' quickly so if it's 8pm, you might want to go for something else). So when your options are deep-fried XYZ and burgers burgers burgers - Roll'd is a breath of fresh air and a much healthier option! We haven't had anything we've disliked yet.... so they've won our fast-food vote!

HIGH QUALITY FOOD AND CHEERY STAFF
There are a few Rolld restaurants in Melbourne and I think this one wins for freshness and friendliness.
You get the same menu options (pho, rice paper rolls etc) but the rolls do seem tastier and fresher here.
Its in the food court, with no dedicated seating but plenty of seats and tables throughout the food court.
If you are in a hurry, go for the rice paper rolls which you will get immmediatley.
If you want a bowl of pho you will generally be given a buzzer to take to your table and retrieve the pho when buzzed.
My only criticism of the restaurant (and this applies to all the food court outlets) is that everything is single use - spoons, chopsticks, boxes (for the rolls), plastic tubs for the sauces and plastic bowls for the pho.
There wasn't a recycle bin option when I'd finished my meal so I had to discard all that plastic into a general waste bin :(
Overall - great value , good food and friendly service.
Mushroom and Tofu Pho is delicious. Pork belly and crackling baos are my favourite. Staff are lovely.
