Located in leafy Middle Park right opposite Middle Park's tram station, Jack the Geezer pleases with a solid brunch offering alongside great coffee poured by adept baristas.

Grumbling bellies are rewarded at Jack the Geezer with generous portions of hearty food that is simple but simply delicious.

Our top picks include the dish aptly called the "Middle Eastern" which is a stunning amalgamation of traditional falafels, roasted pine nuts, hummus, heirloom tomato, cucumber, olives, sumac dukkha, poached egg encasing dripping yolk finished with a fresh rosemary and basil dressing and served with crusty panini bread.

For meat lovers the Stag Night Reviver is a must. Think panini bread encasing grilled 120g Porterhouse steak layered with onion jam, grilled prosciutto, tomato, cos lettuce, mustardaioli, Swiss cheese and fried egg. This comes with a generous side of crispy chips too.

If you want something healthier then the Convent Grains salad is perfect. A nutrient dense mix of grains and rice, Meredith’s goat feta, herbs, spinach and smashed avocado. It's good for you without compromising on taste.

A part from delicious coffee, these guys make great smoothies too. The Morning Glory is simply divine and is a mouthwatering blend of dates, banana, vanilla, almond Milk and a shot of coffee.

Located in Middle park, right opposite the tram stop, Jack the geezer cafe is a delightful place to have lunch.

They have a great variety of dishes on their Menu, I really enjoyed their butter milk chicken burger. The chicken was crispy and tender, and their homemade spice BBQ peach relish was absolutely delicious!

They also make amazing smoothies. I would definitely dine here again.

In the beautiful suburb of Middle Park, on a busy corner, Jack the Geezer is a fabulous cafe that doesn’t just have great food and coffee, but a lot of heart too! The venue is so fitting for the area. There is lots of room in the cafe as well as a lot of outdoor seating. As we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff who took our coffee orders and showed us the extensive menu.
So many great options to choose from! I couldn't resist the Middle Eastern breakfast. A beautifully presented plate of amazing goodies. Traditional falafels, hummus, heirloom tomato, cucumber, olives, poached egg with rosemary & basil dressing served with panini bread. Sooo good.

Locals were enjoying the relaxed ambience and fantastic dishes too, proving that this stunning cafe has what it takes to keep patrons returning for more delicious food and friendly service.

We were invited to Jack the Geezer today a cute little cafe located in the Middle Park shopping strip easily accessible by nearby tram with ample parking nearby.

I started with a refreshing tropical smoothie as we awaited our dishes to arrive. We were presented with most generous serves in the middle eastern and smashed avocado. My dining companion loved the middle eastern and my smashed avocado was a far cry from the average.

There was so much going on on that plate and all of it was delicious. I loved the honey carrot purée and the salted ricotta. The ample herbs atop the pumpkin bread gave it a beautiful freshness and lots of lovely flavour. I was really impressed with this dish. We finished with the berry pancakes which were well balanced and quite pretty on the plate.

On this crisp spring morning we dined at the wonderfully names Jack the Geezer cafe in Middle Park surrounds.  There weren’t plenty of happy outdoor dining patrons accompanied by extraordinarily well behaved dogs and we enjoyed the vibe whilst sipping our hot creamy lattes.

The menu had plenty of delicious sounding dishes was quite extensive with a dedicated sweet brunch section and a long list of smoothies and other drinks on the reverse. We loved the names British names and we settled on the Buckingham Benedict (with sausage) and the recomended French Toast (with bacon).

We also ordered the Goddess Strawberry smoothie which was the perfect combo of coconut and berry and so good.

The French toast came out and looked divine with thick pieces of authentic brioche, fried with lovely sweet crispy edges, not too eggy and served with jammy berries and sweet mascarpone.

The Buckingham Benedict came on top of home made crumpets, poached eggs under a saffron hollandaise and herby sausages (something I don’t normally go for but felt like today). Other options included bacon, ham and salmon. I was surprised how much I enjoyed the sweet asparagus on this dish, perfectly in season.

We had a fab time at Jack the Geezer. Thanks so much for inviting us in.

A really lovely cafe with lots of outdoor seating for those lovely Melbourne days. We had the eggs Benedict with saffron hollandaise served on crumpets with bacon and asparagus. A really lovely dish and probably my favourite. The asparagus gave it a freshness and I loved the idea of the crumpets soaking up all that sauce a yolk. Delish!
The berry hotcakes were also yum for those sweet tooth’s out there! Finally the chicken burger was super crispy and the pickles and chutney gave it a sweetness and tanginess that I really enjoyed. Coffee was also spot on!
Thanks for having us 👍🏻

Excellent food and coffee. Attentive service. Relatively inexpensive. Covid safe practices. Great outdoor seating - dog friendly - we had 6 dogs and 6 people without difficulty. Wildly different meal choices well timed by kitchen to arrive together. Highly recommend this little place. Good gluten free options. Adequate nearby street parking. Might be close to road but planters and kerbing make it a cosy spot. Good for children.

Apart from the 10000 people at The Cup, the rest of Melbourne appeared to be enjoying the public holiday at the beach. We decided to head 800m or so off the Esplanade and take a punt on Middle Park. It paid off. Easy 4hr park. Soothing jazz tunes in the air. Wonderfully delicious decaf long black. Excellent iced latte. Now for the food..."Picadilly and Mediterranean" most pleasing to the eye and palate. Would highly recommend.

Middle Eastern meal was fantastic with yummy falafel and ample salad. Portion size is good so make sure you are really hungry for this one 🙂 Pancakes for kids were very soft. I loved the Soy Chai too. Poached eggs were slightly overcooked as the yolk wasn't runny but overall food was good. Ample car and bike parking space. We sat outdoors as the day was sunny and absolutely loved the seating ❤️

We loved our visit to Jack the Geezer. We ordered the delicious smashed avocado which was a very generous serving, the warm porridge with coconut milk & baked rhubarb, the Buckingham Benedict with sausage was a great choice, served on crumpets instead of bread. The insta worthy French toast looked as delicious as it looked. The coffee is delicious and hits the spot. Coffee is by a Melbourne based roaster Madamimadam. Fabulous staff, service was quick, loved the decor, we will definitely visit again soon.

Caught the tram to this humble little cafe and Wowee what a treat ! I decided after much deliberation to take on ‘Jacks Dish’ and I was wholeheartedly satisfied from beginning, middle to end. Incredible quinoa and grain bed with currants and heirloom tomatoes, accompanied like a symphonic melody with halloumi and polenta prisms and topped with two gorgeous and perfectly cooked poached eggs. All brought together with a wonderful balsamic drizzle and regular flat white to die for. Jack ya bloody geezer I will be back. Often. Thank you.
