One of the best locations for a winery!
We have visited Trentham Estate on four occasions - 2013, 2017, 2020 and 2022.
The wines are very good quality and their Cellar Reserve Fine Old Tawny is incredible! As I can't buy it in bottle shops, it's either buy it online or visit the winery. I choose a visit ;-)
In 2020, the winery offered a comprehensive wine tasting (similar to a tutored tasting) where we paid and sat at a table. That experience was excellent. In 2022, it was sit at the bar and taste. Also OK but I prefer the former as opposed to the latter.
The food is good but there is an opportunity to raise it to a higher standard. The restaurant is not open every day so you may want to check that first before visiting.
If you happen to be on a house boat, just pull up and enjoy this great winery. Very much worth a visit.
Stunning location on the Murray River with a really well looked after outdoor area.
The food was of a very good standard, really enjoyed the Salt & Pepper Squid that was perfectly cooked

We have just enjoyed the fantastic service and fare of Trentham Estate Winery. Coming off our rented Mildura Houseboat it seems we were in for the “Royal Treatment” and my goodness did they deliver!!! Beautiful food and wine in a delightful setting overlooking the Murray river. We received friendly and superb service from the staff on a very busy day. The ice for the boat icebox was even delivered to the vessel , thanks Barry. ♥️

An absolutely fabulous lunch...duck was divine. Vegetable stack was scrumptious. The wines are excellent and reasonably priced. Our waitress was fantastic; a great sense of humour and accommodated our requirements with ease. Definitely coming back again, and again.
Dined for lunch. I had the barramundi special & a french martini cocktail. Both were tasty. Hubby had the murray cod fillet & enjoyed that also. Service friendly. We were in a houseboat so easy parking & accessibility.
Located close to Mildura, one of the must visit places on the list for a road trip…
You can taste locally produced and packaged family owned wines and have a bite at the restaurant enjoying the beautiful Murray river view… the pathway for house boats till restaurant and the secluded green lookout area are the real treats for eyes.
Staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about the produce and can guide the best wine suiting your palette. We grabbed a liqueur muscat and Shiraz
Beautiful winery on the Murray. Trentham has a good selection of sweeter and lighter wines like the Frizzante and are reasonably priced. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
Great day out on a beautiful estate, food and wine was delicious. Also the wine tasting was alot of fun. My only suggestion would be for the hosts to ventilate the marquis better as it got very stuffy so if you do book a table make sure it not in the tent
