Omg where do I start? My fiancé travelled from Melbourne, Queen’s birthday weekend when we found Andy’s Kitchen by chance after everything else was booked out. We were greeted with smiles and thought we were going to be seated in the cosy part of the shop but our waitress kept walking so we followed. It seemed to keep going, out the back was amazing! Our waitress was lovely and after taking out orders asked if we were allergic to nuts. No one has asked that before. After our eating our entrees and mains we were too full for dessert. The food was amazingly delicious. I can’t say enough about Andy’s Kitchen, the food, the staff and the atmosphere were great, so great we cancelled our booking for the next night and went back to Andy’s. Next time we go to Mildura we are definitely coming back!
Service and food is outstanding !!
Would like to thank Andy and his staff for an amazing time in helping us celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary.
Highly recommend Andys Kitchen to all.
*****
Absolute treat and a must to experience.
Such a beautiful restaurant with extremely welcoming and friendly staff.
Extremely busy with both phone orders and in house however, it had such a calm vibe. I've never seen a restaurant ran so beautifully.
Couldn't fault the food either or the price and it's so nice to see a menu state dietary requirements so clearly. Fellow gluten free eaters won't be disappointed.
Booking is necessary! The place is packed and the atmosphere is so lively and friendly. The staff are incredibly welcoming and kind, and are happy to answer any questions about menu items. The food though, oh my god, it's worth travelling from across the country for alone! The entre was delicious and the mains and side were even better. The portion sizes were very generous and worth every cent. The staff were so kind and even offered us a free dessert, which made the night even better.
Can't wait to come back!
I popped in to get some Takeaway as I was staying in Mildura overnight & from reading other Google reviews, I had decided on Andy’s Kitchen. I was not disappointed! On arrival I was warmly welcomed by the owner who enquired had I been before, and almost insisted as it was my first time I should eat in the restaurant & he assured me fast service from the kitchen, to which I agreed. The service in this restaurant is next level with the use of iPads & headsets where the front of house can communicate to the larger dining area at the back, where I was quickly seated. Within a minute of being seated I was asked if I’d like to order a drink, which I did, a moment later another staff member politely took me through the specials for the night & I placed my order. My table already had a large bottle of water, cutlery & napkins. The rear dining space is huge and covered by a large bamboo style thatched hut rooftop feeling very tropical & felt like I had been magically transported to a lovely holiday destination. Very soon my Entree of 2 x Roasted Duck pancake with plum sauce arrived & was beautifully presented, generous in portion size & slice of duck & absolutely delicious! Barely minutes after finishing my entree & it being promptly cleared from my table, my main arrived, Nasi Goreng with Chicken & I have to say, on first impressions alone it was an impressive looking bowl of food. First few mouthfuls in I thought I had died & gone to heaven as thus Nasi goreng was an absolute flavour bomb, packed full of yummy ingredients, plenty of chicken throughout, very generous serving size, I actually struggled a little to get through the whole serving. Soon after I was delivered a complementary desert as I was a ‘first time’ customer, of a panacotta with chocolate & passion fruit sauce which was very nice & a great touch to end this memorable meal! The entire experience from beginning to end was SO good, it was really quiet hard to believe. My only disappointment on reflection is to come here again, I must drive 6hours from Melbourne, but to be honest, it would be well worth it!! I highly recommend Andy’s Kitchen. I look forward to returning again in the future & bringing my family to share the experience & wonderfully delicious food this restaurant so generously offers! Well done to the exceptional team running this establishment and the superior level of customer service they are putting forward as it certainly makes you stand out from the rest!
Rocked up mid week no booking no table. Returned next night with booking and enjoyed prompt friendly service. Generous servings with meat eaters and vegetarians most happy. Try for the Bali room and ignore the Christmas decorations in April. Not to pricey and just lovely
Andy's Kitchen has been a popular restaurant with the locals for years and it's not difficult to see why.
We enjoyed dining here. The outdoor area is pleasant and relaxing.
This restaurant serves Chinese, Vietnamese, Malaysian - you name it. Almost all forms of Asian cuisine are on offer. Focussing on fewer may however be more helpful for the brand.
Andy's is a slick operation. Wait staff are armed with electronic gadgets to instantly communicate with each other and the kitchen.
If you want to take your time and enjoy the evening, ask for a break (maybe 15 minutes or more) between the courses. Otherwise, you will be finished before you know it ;-)
Given the hype, I probably expected more but thought it was a good enough night out. Prices are reasonable, staff are friendly and the servings are generous.
Great Atmosphere, friendly staff and very tasty food, best boneless crispy duck I have tasted ,recommended, will come again 😋
The 450km drive to eat at Andy's was worth every kilometre. From the moment we walked through the door, Millie's greeting was so warm and friendly, our orders were exceptionally prompt, and the food, my God it was perfection. Every mouthful was a taste sensation. We had a shared tasting plate and as there were only two satay chicken skewers for the 3 of us, Andy promptly provided a third. Bless him.
Highly recommend this restaurant as it was a 10 out of 5 stars. Staying here for a week and as Arnie says - "We'll be back".
This place is fantastic, packed and the atmosphere is lively and friendly. The staff are incredibly welcoming and kind, Kim served us and she was great and happy to answer any questions about the menu and offer suggestion's. The food though, oh my god! The homemade spring rolls was delicious and the mains were even better. The portion sizes were very generous and worth every cent. Even though it was busy for a Tuesday night food came out fairly quickly.
Overall 10/10, I can’t sing loudly enough how good this restaurant is.
Booking is essential.
