I hadn't been to New York Minute in Moonee Ponds circa 5 years. I'm glad to that it was just as good and if not better than I remember it.
I got the chilli beef burger and the burger, salad and condiments were well balanced and tasted great. Reminded me of Burger Fuel in NZ.
The chips were also crispy and soft in the middle just like they should be.
The only downside was perhaps customer service. I believe the lady who served us was the manager. She was too busy making videos of the new POS system to take care of customers properly. And not to mention her idea of being personable was dropping the F bomb whilst talking to tradie customers.
I will be back as the food was superb.

Rodney - Villa D'Este

Have this thing about trying non corporate Burger places. Usually on a Sunday but today is a sunny Melbourne Saturday so off for a drive.. This time for a Burger, ordered Miami Burger $14.50. Great tasty patty, favours came through and the bun held its act together. First customer of day and the "product" was prefect. Great selection of Burgers, see photos. Team members friendly and happy.

Ordered the veggie springtime burger and hot chips. Hot chips were slightly over cooked. Veggie burger was good. Nice flavours and great texture. Special sauce is amazing

Wow! I probably ate one of the best burgers for a long while. I had the juiciest New Jersey with jalapeno and my friend had the Philly Cheese Burger. He enjoyed his meal as well. We also ordered the best chips and sweet potato chips as well. The young girl who served us was a tad brash but friendly enough and the rest of the staff professional and well uniformed. We will definitely return.

We came around lunch time to try out their burger. I have the mini New York burger (one patty). My friend had the New York burger (two patties). And we had a large chips to share. The burger was delicious. The patty is nice and juicy. One patty is enough though, two was a bit of an overkill. They use pickles and spinach rather than your standard tomato and lettuce. Must try the chips as they are super yummy. Almost like your beer batter chips. Will definitely come back!

Have been here a few times first time was just before the huge burger trend in Melbourne started and was pretty impressed with there version of the Big Mac well priced and great size burgers and still up there with the burger gods ie; 8bit,yomg,stburgs etc keep up the good work guys I’ll be coming back for sure 👍

Whilst my friend enjoyed her broadway chicken burger, mine must have been made up of 80% raw onion because although she has a blocked nose when I turned to talk to her she assumed I'd burped raw onion in her face. Thankfully this has not set back my bonding with her new cat. Would not recommend the vegan burger if on a date unless of course you're into that kind of thing...or you want to get rid of the prick/dissuade the goodnight kiss. Unlike Shrek's onion metaphor this burger had one layer and it was onion!

Burgers are okay, not my most favourite burgers. Not a very big space so would recommend getting take away as the only space to eat is on bar stools.
