Lovely little cafe, with strong coffee and tasty food. We ordered the hotcake and the omelette. The omelette was really delicious with a lot of different and well balanced flavours. The hotcake was good, however the fairy floss has a bit of a weird taste that we didn’t quite like.
Still look forward to come back and try some other dishes.
I had an amazing experience with the coffee and food here. This cafe is really something else. Maintaining the chic aesthetic of a trendy Melbourne cafe, the Mews stands out for the excellent quality breakfast dishes. I’ve tried the Halloumi stack, the corn fritters and the ricotta hot cakes, and I can say hands down this place is my favourite place in Sydney. They also use grand cru for coffee, and the coffee is consistently top quality.
Came for birthday brunch but will be returning as a new regular! Wonderful service, great fusion menu and truly delicious food. Cute like a little Parisian cafe
Nice cafe in a lane in mosman away from the traffic of military rd.
Beautiful, creative menu to enjoy breakfast or lunch. They also have a good selection of teas
They have high chairs and easy seatibg area for the dog lovers.
Very polite staff. Started off with a great long black, ordered the midori omelette and their signature sandwich. Fresh ingredients, such a well thought out menu with all the flavours complementing each other nicely. Would definitely come back!

In the leafy suburb of Mosman is a cafe tucked into a laneway, named the Mews. A good amount of outdoor tables allows you to take in the morning sunshine.
We came bright and early, 8am and it was extremely busy when we left, so I’d recommend arriving early too.
We talked to the owners who are absolutely delightful and keen to do the best for their customers, Daniel tells us they recently changing coffee beans for the locals, who like it “strong”.
Using an amazing coffee machine; the Cafe racer from san remo and the Grand cru brand, in particular the 3 bean from Brazil, Ethiopia and Kenya. A great blend and came out with some skilled latte art. The chai latte is also offered in two forms; powdered (my favourite) or brewed.
I’ve been scoping out this cafe for weeks, if not months now and following delicious food pics on Instagram, so it was extremely difficult to pick just one thing to eat, hence we got a few to share. The food is a mix of Asian and Australian influences which makes for a beautiful fusion.
We tried the Miso mush with sautéed wild mushrooms on a piece of bread, shaved edamame, black sesame, lotus chips and topped with a poached egg. Such a beautiful combination of flavours.
The braised pork shakshuka, eggs, toast capsicum and tomato, chicpeas, fetta cheese and pistachio dukkah, pomegranates and roti.
The Nutella lava hotcakes were fluffy, almost cake like, filled with warm Nutella and topped with Candied pancetta, lemon curd and Persian fairy floss as well as raspberries and strawberries.
Vegetarian and vegan options available to it is suitable for all.
A pleasure to visit this lovely cafe and the food is amazing.
Quick search of the Mosman area came up with The Mews. Off the main road but near easy parking. Small place with good atmosphere. Smoothies were excellent and refreshing. Better half got the Black Crab and she loved it. I got the Karage Chicken burger and it was a nice eat as well. Tables were small but we ate comfortably and the service was prompt and friendly.
I love Sunday brunch. The Midori Omelette was delicious and faultless, served in a timely manner with friendly staffs. We polished our plate off and felt that portions were just right. Has a difficult time choosing from the menu as everything sounded delicious! Will definitely be back soon, keep up the good job!
