We thoroughly enjoyed our meal from Nol-Si this evening. The service was outstanding and the seafood salad and paella were absolutely delicious. What a delight to have such a hidden gem of a restaurant in Mount Hawthorn. Do yourself favour and try it out as it is well priced and definitely worth visiting. Thank you to Amit and all his staff - we will be back.
This little bistro is absolutely delicious. I had the pork belly, other’s had steak and lamb. Great value, seasonal menu, BYO (liquor store across the road), lovely service. I highly recommend this local bistro.
Highly versatile chef, very accommodating and friendly. Something for everyone on the broad menu. Recommended. From garlic prawns, paella from scratch, well cooked Barramundi to a curry special daily.
An excellent local-style restaurant with no pretensions. The food is good - an interesting mix of European and Asian - and the service is very good indeed. It's BYO with a bottle shop just across the road. There is a garden area at the back for warmer evenings.
A hidden and overlooked gem in Mt Hawthorn! We eventually tried it and it was amazing!
We got the set meal for $39 each and we’re more than happy with the quality and amount of food. Their menu is varied and bold, and the chef definitely pulls it off!
Been here several times now and it never disappoints, Great food and incredibly friendly staff, fun, eclectic menu perfectly executed! Fun outdoor area as well if the weather cooperates.
We eat here often. Always love our food and the lovely staff who run this place. Love the lamb shanks. Menu is eclectic and a bit different.
Been here several times as the food is always delicious and the atmosphere relaxed. The crispy skin baramundi was excellent and my wife's goan fish curry so tasty I almost wished I had ordered it. The prices are very fair and the service is excellent.
Love Nol-si! The curries are fantastic, Goan fish curry is my favourite. Small restaurant with great service, tasty food and at a reasonable price
Replacing a coffee shop on the Mt Hawthorn strip, Nol-Si offers good food at a good price. We visited in January, but had to wait for Zomato to add the restaurant before I could add this review. But I noted that the whiting fillets on the "to share" menu were oustanding and my highlight of the night. Mind you, for mains, the Goan fish curry had a great, sweet flavour and left me wanting more, as did the curry of the day (a lovely, sticky beef rendang). The chill prawn linguine was a reasonable dish, but just lacked a bit of punch, while the lamb rack was perfectly cooked and came with beautiful baby carrots and a reasonable potao dauphinoise (though there was a little more jus than was required). Service, meanwhile, was very god early, though became a little stretched as the restaurant filled up. Recommended.
The food here is excellent. Despite being Modern Australian, there's a bit of flair to the food that makes it different and worth the venture to this place. The tandoori chicken and garlic prawns were fantastic. And it is very rare to find a dining place which does not overpower the room with music - Nolsi keeps the atmosphere quiet and calm for their customers to have their meals in peace and with good company. Their service is efficient and friendly too. Definitely will come back to this place 👍👍
Paul and I want to thank you immensely for the outstanding meal and wonderful service last Thursday night. Every time we attend your restaurant the food and service is consistently excellent!! We so appreciate you being so personable and accommodating and nothing is ever too much for you. Your restaurant is superb! We could not rate you highly enough!! Always a treat!!!
Amazing service and well worth supporting this little local beauty. Chef was friendly and served up amazing dishes for all courses. The place has a lot of character about it and even the outside heated undercover area had a lovely ambience. Will be back regularly.
Having moved to Mt Hawthorn a while ago we finally got to visit Nol Si. And so glad we did. We are already planning a return visit.
This is relatively small restaurant so I would advise you book ahead.
The menu offers a 2 course for $39 and a 3 course for $49. Where else can you get these prices in Perth?
And the food was excellent. All 3 courses.
Highly recommended.
Beautiful small restaurant. Amazing customer service. Small menu with everything cooked to perfection. Great character and atmosphere. Will definitely recommend this place to all our family and friends.
A 5 star quality restaurant with a personal touch and service to all its customers. Celebrated my wife's birthday and we couldn't have asked for more. We tried their 3 courses that included the garlic prawns $3 extra, tandoori chicken a little dry, the perfectly cooked beef cheeks, and our desserts were the tiramisu and creme brulee which were not bad. The rasberry ice cream was definitely a stand out. The chef is an absolutely great bloke and made sure he checked in on all his guests and made everyone feel right at home. His waitress was by far the best photographer helping us capture these precious moments and was so attentive throughout the night. A great atmosphere and we'll most certainly be back the next round to try the rest of his menu. Keep up the great work guys!
Stunning food, fabulous ambience, all cooked before your eyes and flavours that are outstanding. Worth more than 5 stars. Best in Perth
