Fantastic service, friendly welcoming place and the food was to die for. Lamb Saag Gosht, chicken madras and cheesy garlic naan, not to mention a taste of home made salted caramel ice cream. This restaurant will become my local in Nairne having just moved here.
Food and service was amazing. The lobster, egg plant curry and the onion bahji's are a must. A true taste sensation and well worth the drive. Thank you
Kamal is an amazing owner with amazing Food. Best Indian Food I have ever tasted in all of Adelaide!! thank you for such a good service.

Walking in the friendly owner Kamal will make you feel at home as you will enjoy one of the tastiest indian meals in the Adelaide Hills. My fiancée had the butter chicken and I had the Chicken Madras, both full of flavours and great servings. We also enjoyed a tasty garlic naan. We actually got engaged that day and were celebrating with a nice romantic dinner, Kamal gave us delicious home made Turkish delight and pistachio ice cream on the house which we did not want to end. Will definitely eat here again.
The best in the Hills. Without a doubt, Chingari is the best Indian restaurant in the Hills.
Excellent flavours and attention to detail, you can tell there is a lot of experience here. Love the fact that the chef and owner comes and talks with customers.
Try it - you will love it.
Incredible food. Incredible service. Incredible value. I always LOVE going to Chingari's. The food is second to none and always friendly service.
Beautiful Indian Food. This restaurant is an absolute jewel in the Adelaide Hills. The service is fast, outstanding and courteous, the food is beautifully prepared with WONDERFUL authentic, high quality traditional Indian flavours. This is a real treat for our small vegetarian family as it is often hard to find places to eat out. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending this restaurant to anyone. You come away feeling well nurtured with wonderful Indian flavours lingering.
Great Indian in the Hills. After visiting India last year hubby and I have very high expectations of Indian food. We were pleasantly surprised by Chingari in Nairne. I had been once before quite a while ago and we decided to try it for takeaway on Saturday night. We had a mix- Saag Gosht (Spinach Curry with chicken), Aloo Gobhi (Cauliflower and Potato curry) plain naan and a serve of rice. It was delicious. Moist chicken, perfectly cooked potato, the curries couldnt be faulted. The naan had been raved about but I would have to try it in house to rate it properly, it was very soggy. We will definitely be going back soon.
Hidden in the Hills. We are fortunate to live very close to Chingari. Every time we have been it's been packed to the rafters but still the service is timely and the waiting staff are not intrusive. The meal just flows with lovely food and a menu sure to please even the fussiest eaters. It is the one night we shrug off our sensible eating and delight in such things as butter garlic naan bread and butter chicken! My favourites. For such a small town, Nairne packs a punch with this hidden gem. If you are looking for excellent food, fantastic service and a wonderful dining experience you can't go past Chingari. A true family owned and run business with a passion for giving you a memorable dining experience.
A real little find. Loved the food and the attentive service. These guys were flat out last night but the timing of our food service was perfect. We will be back.
I have never had Indian as good as this. It really is divine . Service is friendly and quick. I could eat this food for breakfast lunch and dinner for the rest of my life. Every dish is good although never been keen how Indians do seafood always a bit overcooked. Highly recommend you will not be dissappointed
This place is the best gem hidden in Nairne. I have never been disappointed coming here. Their curries are absolutely delicious and their menu range from mild curries to scorching hot so there are plenty of options for everyone. Highly recommend this place to everyone :)
Dined in. Great service and delicious food. Beef cheek curry was outstanding. Everything was full of flavour. Loved it.
Very nice curry, great to find a place that actually has a bit of heat to their curries.
Tucked away in Nairne, this would have to be one of the best Indian restaurants in the Adelaide Hills. A wide range of dishes prepared with authentic Indian spices. If you have that one person in the family that doesn't like Indian food stopping you from going to have Indian, no problems there's a beautiful BBQ grill menu to feast on.
Absolutely loved it. Had the barramundi fish. It was cooked perfectly. I can't recall eating fish that good before, even from some of the most expensive restaurants around Adelaide. My partner loved her chicken too. Lovely service. Couldn't fault the place.
