Has been a while since I have been here and I was pleasantly surprised. Had a meal from the $12 menu.. I had coconut prawns salad with a Thai lime dressing.. yummo.. my friend had rump chips and salad and she commented on her steak was exactly as she liked it All staff I came in contact.. both ordering meal and some drinks were friendly .. welcoming and so happy they seemed like they really loved their jobs and the people they came in contact with. WTG

Omg staff were so lovely. Everyone staff member greeted us with a smile. Lunch time special menu was great value and choice, which also tasted yummo. Best of all was gaytime cocktail and the view from the top deck. Wished I had more time there. Can’t wait to go back.

This is a great place to soak in the view of the wharf. The staff are very pleasant and efficient. We enjoyed a few drinks and some delicious snacks while enjoying the view.

For a pub feed it was awesome. Great vibe due to the live music, which set the atmosphere. Not out of price range. Kiosk service was pleasant.

Always_eating

We stumbled across this place not knowing anything about it (we are from out of town) and hypnotised by the sparkling water views on a beautiful day. The food didn't disappoint - peppery batted fish and chips and tender salt and pepper squid - really pleasantly surprised. Would happily revisit and enjoy a few wines of an afternoon, light snacks and watch the sun set..

The Queens Wharf Hotel is a venue that always seems to deliver better than expected quality and value. The view over the river and port entry (Nobby’s Heads) is unsurpassed, the staff are fantastic and extremely eager to please, and the food is excellent value for money. Their good selection of beers & wines is another selling point. Definitely a place to consider for your next visit to the Newcastle foreshore.

Stopped by this place for a break on our way back to Sydney and couldnt have asked for a better plan. Had a few rounds of juicy oysters of different varieties. Pair that with a great view and time passed quickly just like that. Wish we had more time to spare so that we could be there longer. Fresh local beers available from the taps for those who aren't driving!

I booked in for my sons 21st birthday lunch. i requested on-line a table next to the windows looking over the harbour. we arrived and the table was amazing. the food was great and the service was too. The prices were really reasonable. thank you all at the Wharf, you made a 21st lunch into an amazing, friendly, lovely event. xxx
