Organising my boyfriends surprise 25th at honeysuckle was honestly a breeze when dealing with a functions manager like Megan! The night ran so smoothly, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. From the food platters to Megan organising the cake stand and decorating the room for us so we didn’t have to do it ourselves. A big shout out to Mimi on the bar who made organising the bar tab super cruisey, to setting up a mic quickly for us to make speeches! You guys are both such a asset to honeysuckle hotel! I Would definitely recommend honeysuckle for any function!��
I had my farewell at honey suckle hotel last weekend in the function area on the verandah myself and my guest had the best time!!!! Having my event here was easy and enjoyable from the organising to tje partying (and im a stressy perfectionest hehe). I highly recommend having your function here. Honeysuckle hotel was found to be the best value for money (i did a lot of looking around), stunning venue, great music, good food, they let me decorate and the staff are out standing not only were they a breeze to communicate with leading up the event on the night they looked after me! i meet the manger and event staff who went above and beyond to make it a great night despite the rain causing a bit havoc. A shout out to Megan, Mimi and the Honeysuckle hotel for making my farewell grand! This post is a heart felt thankyou to u all. Cheers. I will definitely be having any future events here when im back from my travels!!
I visited on a Friday afternoon at around 4:30pm with two others. It wasn't too busy and we got a nice table by the water with a great view. We ordered some drinks, coffee, chips ($9) and oven-baked Turkish bread ($9). The drinks were nice and good value, the vodka raspberry was especially good. The chips weren't the best but the delicious Turkish bread made up for it. I liked that we could order our drinks from our phones, but it would've been good if we could order food as well. The service was friendly but not very fast. Overall, I highly recommend for the good vibes and views.
Friendly staff, with deck seating and indoor seating. The ribs and wings were delicious! The lobster was nice, the rump was alright. You can see the nice ships on port with the deck view. The inside is nice and spacious

The vibe is absolutely amazing. Massive place looking over the water, nice smoking zone, live music, digital order from the table. LOVED IT!! Will definitely visit again for the view and the vibe!
1. Spice Dusted Squid w/ paprika aioli & chilli ($18) - 5/5, almost the best squid i have ever had. We took 2, MUST TRYY!!!
2. Garlic Prawn & Chorizo Pizza / 26.0
w/ Sugo al Pomodoro, garlic prawns, Spanish onion, cherry tomatoes & capers - 2.5/5. Pizza was just okay, very cheesy but not of great taste. Medium sized pizza (8 pieces) with 1 to 2 prawns per piece. Not great for the price
3. Bucket of Prawn (Around $20) - 3/5. Taking shells of is quite a challenge and taste was okay
4. Jug of Pimms - 5/5 ($30) Taste is really good but i think it’s a little expensive but very tasty and relaxing, we took 2.
A Newcastle favourite go to. Delicious food with a decent menu. Always a vibrant atmosphere. Food is on the pricier side, not unexpected for the spectacular views and establishment. The Lychee Martini is hectic fresh and absolutely delicious. An iconic choice.
Such a nice place to enjoy your time with friends or family. Excellent location, next to water with beautiful view, even better when sunset. Nice music add up the vibes. Food are great, pair with variety options of drink. Very humble staffs. What an experience!
Large and spacious venue with ample seating. Staff are hospitable and attentive. Love how you can order at your table through me&u app and food and drinks come straight to your table.
Lamb Ragu spaghetti was cooked well and sweet potato fries are massive. Love the atmosphere here will definitely back next time I’m in Newcastle.
