Nice pub with a standard beer selection (no craft or boutique beers here). The meals are a good selection of the usual pub grub and serving sizes are huge. The amenities while dated were clean and tidy.

The meals were a typical pub meal. We ordered the bangers and mash and the crumbed lamb cutlets both had gravox (or something similar) which I think spoilt the meals a bit. For the price I would think the chef would make their own gravy, but otherwise very nicely presented. The staff were very friendly and it had a lovely atmosphere, so would definitely go back again.
