If you are looking for a last-minute place to eat or somewhere a bit special to go for dinner Chophouse Grill restaurant has something to offer. My partner and I have been here many times and every time the food has been amazing. Large serving sizes for people looking for value for money but does not skimp on quality. The staff are attentive and accommodating to customer requests. Service is fast and efficient. The items on the menu are reasonably priced and offer a great discount for West club members. During our last visit (during Covid restrictions) it was clear that the floor staff were down a few team members. However, they did not let this effect our dining experience and worked as a team to deliver wonderful service during difficult times.

This place was an amazing place great atmosphere dimmed lighting fantastic professional staff who attended to our every need and 5 star food !!!! This place specialises on steak and the cuts of meat are melt in you're mouth so soft and of course very tasty 😋 All meat is served with a beautiful assortment of fine veggies. We started off our meal with these chorizo and waghu beef spring rolls topped with charred corn pieces and a side salad and dipping sauce these spring rolls were honestly the tastiest and most addictive morsels we had ever eaten so much so we ordered some to our room I honestly know that if you try them you to would be amazed !!We also ordered the sourdough cob with this garlic butter that was delectable so absolutely fantastic and worth every cent ! Thankyou so much it was a top quality dining experience.

Definitely recommend coming here if you're in the mood for a nice juicy steak. The starter was delicious and we loved the garlic chilli prawns. Ordered the slow cooked steak which was incredibly tender and the potato side that came with it was amazing. Bartender was also very accommodating and made some passionfruit caprioskas which wasn't on the menu. Loved the ambience and would recommend it for families wanting a nice formal dinner or for couples on a dinner date. Will suggest reserving a table the day before because usually it is very busy.

Really good experience. Having been to many of Sydney’s top steakhouses (and New York too) this Newcastle restaurant certainly holds it own and I definitely didn’t feel like I was sitting in my local club. The chefs should be congratulated: the portions, flavours and sides were perfect. Everything from the steaks to the garnishes, salads and fries were beautiful. Highly recommend. The ribs are outstanding, smoky and saucy - all the good things! I loved the rib eye! And the kids meals were stunning. Make sure you order the Cobb sourdough with black garlic butter to start and the chophouse salad (a meal in itself!)

Offroad Adventure

I have dined here several times. Food is excellent quality. Service is fast and professional. This is not a low budget dining location expect to pay $30 -$40 per main meal but you do not leave hungry or feeling dissatisfied. If you are a club member you get a nice little discount.

Every year since moving to New Lambton, my husband and I celebrate our anniversary at Chophouse and every year its a beautiful and intimate meal, cooked to perfection. Soft lighting and comfortable furnishings create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend the Rattlesteak if you like a hint of spice.

We wasn’t sure whether we’d be able to get a seat in the chophouse because he was told that it was fully booked out after talking to the lady on reception they got us a seat and we sat down and ordered our meals we were treated like royalty and when our meals come out it was fit for a king and queen as well the mail as you can see in my photos was spectacular and the taste and the quality of the food was spectacular as well I think this is the one of the best meals I’ve had for this year I would highly recommend the chophouse once again I think all the staff for looking after us and supply me with a wonderful meal from MWH
