Such a nice classic pub! Was quiet and clean, staff and patrons were friendly and food was soooo good. I had the calamari and it's definitely in my top 5 I've ever had, while my friend enjoyed the wings. Portion sizes were just what we were expecting for these meals, something a bit lighter than a main meal. Definitely want to come back!

Haven't visited here for ages. But felt at home straight away. Loads of tasty beer options plus all your favourite bevies. Menu looks awesome. Happy hour every day. A great live music venue. Highly recommend.

My partner and I had a great experience here last night. The workers inside, and bouncers out the front were friendly and the drinks were delicious. There was no question of vax status which was appreciated. We will definitely return next time we're in the area. Keep up the great work Townie 🙂

Townie has gone up and down in my books over the years. Lately it seems like a nice place for a beer and to watch the sport! Decent selection of beers and food options. Conveniently right next to Newtown Train station for when your train is running 6 minutes late 😉

Great place to pop in to as I did on this occasion when enroute to home. It's right next to the station so you can't miss it. They often have live bands and a casual but still lively vibe.

We came on a weekday for lunch. It was very quiet in the main bar which was a nice change to the busy streets outside. I chose the "Cali Coq" Burger and my daughter had the "OG" burger. Both burgers we super tasty, I was actually surprised at how good they were. Staff were very friendly and smiling. Will definitely be back when I'm hankering for a good burger.
