Excellent coffee. Brief, but delicious menu of toasties and bakery goods that are reasonably priced. Small space so not good for big groups but can definitely enjoy some lunch or takeaway.
Well this place is gorgeous, tiny and a great idea. I had a sound coffee here and the anchovy toast was lovely, but how can you go wrong with this or some or the combinations on offer.
Bread was lovely, not sure what they used but service in that place is terribly slow and disjointed, mainly cause it's so small and so hard to work in. Nice experience. Glad it was done and had.
I love this place. It's cosy and small. The wait staff are super friendly. The food is great and really cheap, you can get some breakfast for under $5 if you are short on cash. The food is wonderful, but the selection in small. I love sitting on the sheep skin chairs watching people go past. It is a tiny place though so it packs out on busy days. I highly recommend coming for a visit.
Just tried the coffee and it was nice but I need to give their inexpensive menu a try and will post a review. Small, European style cafe has a nice feel in an otherwise busy area of Nth Fitzroy that has gentrified tastefully in the last few years with an interesting array of shops and services.
This place will make you totally rethink toast. The menu is great, the staff are lovely and down to earth, the coffee is consistently good and it's amazing how much character and charm can be crammed into such a tiny space.
We love this little place. Great toast options, great coffee made by people who care. It's so refreshing to see somewhere that isn't trying to cater to everyone with a thousand options on the menu. Australians need to get better at specialising with a smaller range of dishes. Can highly recommend this little gem in a gorgeous part of town.

Haven't had the chance to work my way through their lunch menu due to my pregnant state (no smoked salmon, prosciutto, sprouts or soft cheeses) but the breakfast variety has been nothing but delightful.

I love this place and have been making my way through their Toast menu... The Smoked Salmon toast and the Buffalo Mozzarella one are my favourites!
I also LOVE that they serve Allpress espresso and not the ultra cool single estate blah blah from blah blah bland bitter flavoured coffee that seems to keep popping up everywhere in Melbourne now.

It's toast, and stuff on toast, and good coffee. It's cheap. It's delicious. This is such a delightful little place, I'm a huge supporter of shops that just want to do one thing, and do it really well, rather than having a long, vast menu of average food. Go here, you'll be happy.
This little nook makes one realise how over the top some menus and portion sizes can be at cafes across Melbourne. There are no eggs in sight (I didn't miss them, either) and the simple and fresh ingredients are built over one slice of artisan toast. Allpress coffee is made with love and the bright fit out makes for a good spot to read the newspaper on a Sunday morning. We had the avocado, tomato, ricotta, alfalfa and seeds on toast and the San Danielle prosciutto, San Marzano tomato and buffalo mozzarella on toast served with a cafe latte and flat white.

Whilst always a grand spot to grab a coffee to enhance my dog walk, today things took an marvellous turn.
I happened upon their meatball sub special and lord almighty I have ascended to another plane of taste consciousness. What sandwich. What a time. Thank you Toast, your offerings are perfection.
A sweet, small cafe with super friendly staff. It's the perfect place to pop by for your morning coffee and (when it isn't lockdown) pull up a stool and do the weekend puzzles with a sit down snack. The food is so fresh and they make simple, delicious food with quality, local produce.
Lovely staff, top tier coffee and one of the best baguettes (egg + tabasco) I've had in a very long time. Wonderful spot.
This is my favourite coffee spot in the area -- and it has recently been made even better by the addition of a wonderful filter coffee to the menu. To top things off, the food is delicious (with good vegan options) and the service is excellent. They're also very kind to my dog.
Always look forward to my morning coffee and the staff are always very wonderful.
