Great little place with old school is what it is feel.
Excellent selection of pizzas with hilarious names.
Mostly get take away from there.
This place is consistent with their quality.
Sister store to PML.
Must try: Hallouminati
Awesome place! Simple restaurant with mis-matched tables and chairs, music posters on the wall. Comfy and hipster vibe. Staff were great, friendly and happy. Pizza was delicious, crispy thin bases and fresh, tasty toppings. Soft drinks available (no alcohol). Family friendly. We ate in and it was really enjoyable. Seems to be more popular for takeaway. Great dinner.
Whenever I’m in the area I try to drop past. Current favs are capricciosa and salty pig. Good quality ingredients in an old school retro vibe. Solid pie!
What a gem!
Just happened to come across this place on a night out with the girls and boy are we glad we found it.
Traditional old school good quality pizzas. They were all delicious and came out quickly even though they seemed to be crazy busy with takeaway orders.
The place is simple with a few tables inside for you to eat in aswell.
While the eat in experience is very relaxed and the surrounds are a bit higgldy piggldy (no two tables and chairs match) the pizza served is very good. Super thin crust cooked perfectly without excess toppings. I shared a salmon pizza and the salty pig with the family and both were excellent. Service is casual but friendly. I should have taken some pics but forget - I was so hungry. Prices are reasonable and they have a few soft drinks as well on offer. I would easily recommend grabbing a pizza from here.
So my usual Pizza tonight at Northcote plaza changed hands and they've gone down in quality. So I decided to go with some friends to For the Love of Pizza around the corner which I was hesitant to try due to the strong hipster presence.
Have to say I'm impressed.
As soon as I walked in the smell of fresh ingredients sizzling in that hot oven went straight through my nostrils and making me want a pizza!
Great range of gourmet pizzas made to order. Took awhile to come but they were very busy with phone orders.
When the pizza did come it looked bloody delicious! And it was! Worth the wait!
The tomato sauce was perfecto and the thin dough was amazing. Fresh ingredients maximum level.
The whole eating in dining experience took it to another level. Very nice and homey. I defs be back here to try the other pizzas cheers!

A great pizza shop with a very extensive vegetarian menu! Rather than the usual two or three vegetarian options, half the menu is dedicated to pizzas that I can indulge in! We had the potato and onion pizza, which was topped with thick slices of potato, sweet caramelised onion, tallegio cheese and lots of aromatic rosemary. The whole thing was lightly sprinkled with sea salt and it was delish! There are both eat in and takeaway options, so do yourself a favour and try it!
A great take on pizza, kind of like a really delicious version of a corner shop pizza place, but without the disgusting shredded ham and all that. Their bases are quite nice, and not overly thick, and the choice of different kinds of pizzas is larger than I've seen before. Great for vegetarians, but occasionally I crack and get a meat lovers. Lovely stuff.
Best pizza I've ever had, with the Pumpkin (minus olives, plus eggplant) being my all time fave. Never eaten in but the customer service has been great. Always call up to order to avoid the wait, this place gets super busy during the dinner rush! Good for vegos and fans of a classic, slightly thinner crust.
love love love this place with its album covers lined up on the wall. great pizza. great music. its a tuesday night regular stop in. did i mention i love this place?
ive been here at least once every couple of weeks for the last 4 years or so.
ive moved house, and now its a little further away, but i still plan to get a large meatballs once every couple of weeks. fair price, great pizza and nice people working there. i hope the meatball pizza never gets taken off the menu too. 10/10, would eat again.
We love your gluten free pizzas - the base has been divine!! But, sadly, we can no longer eat them because yeast has recently been added to the gluten free base. We hope that one day you will make gluten free yeast free bases again so we can enjoy many many of our favourite pizzas in Melbs again!! love xx
Don't go for the retro 60's kitchen decor or the vinyl spinning at modest decibels or for the laid back but warm hospitality. Go for the fabulous pizza and salads on offer from the hard working owner behind the jump. Always great food.
They do pizza and they do it well. They provide a one page menu menu of simple, full flavoured options that are classily prepared and delicious. A large pizza takes a while to get through, which is a total plus for me.
The restaurant is very simple, maybe a little too simple, feels like it could do with a decorator.
If you like pizza, you'll love this place.
Its tough to stand out as a pizza joint in the NoTho area which is teaming with great pizza BUT For The Love of Pizza is hands down best pizza in the hood. An indi operation with owners that are serious about creating the best dough, quality toppings and good service. Locals love this place so expect a longer lead time on your order but its worth the wait!
Back again to Love of Pizza for another great pizza. Just the right amount of topping (for me) but extras are reasonably priced. But again another great pizza(Amando,s with potato) yum!!
Pizzas are creative and really tasty. Lots of pizza places in the area, but this place is so good that it has become one of my regulars.
