The food and service was sensational. Both the beef and venison cooked to perfection. I was impressed with the focus on local food and wine. Speaking of which, the wine menu was superb. The only thing I could possibly fault them for was that the menu was still quite winter focused. Very delicious though, I'll definitely be going back.
We had the $85 degustation menu. It was amazing! The staff were polite and the wine selection was great. I recommend this restaurant and can't wait to come back for more. They are open for lunches and dinners on different days of the week. I would recommend booking ahead. Allow plenty of time as there is a wait between courses and probably deliberatly as you expect at any good restaurant that presents its food well.
Highly recommended restaurant! Food is amazing and the staff there are friendly! The only thing I don’t like is that the mashed potatoes is a little bit salty!
We had a lovely meal here on our Annicersary and they didn't let us down. Everything was great.. the service..food. We had a miscomunnication with the order but the server was quick to resolve it. The prices are reasonable for a fine dining restaurant. Would love to dine here again
I was looking for a restaurant to celebrate my wife's birthday and just so happened upon it when searching online. I've been around Parramatta for a while now and have never noticed the place. Decided to try the degustation in order to sample as many dishes as possible. The food was great. The service was excellent, and it had a good atmosphere as well. I wasn't expecting a fine-dining experience in Parra. Pleasantly surprised. We'll definitely come back!
An explosion of flavours. Great relaxing atmosphere. Friendly warm service. I was lucky to experience a special French fine dining menu that they happened to arrange during my visit with my Australian cousin.
With several quirky combination of flavours, it's très français !
My favorites are the escargots (snails), the salmon in crème fraîche (French sour/fresh cream), and the very bizarrely nice dish of poulet (chicken) with chestnuts and mustard.
And we even received a complimentary (I think) apple-cinnamon ice cream as a "pre-dessert"!
And that truffle ice cream...
However, I think the caramel cake is a bit too sweet for my taste.
