Mr and I both love pizza and finding not much else open on a Sunday evening in the cbd we headed here for an early dinner. We were the only people at 5pm but it soon filled up.
We ordered a Rocky and a Flavourtown Rebel and both were delicious with a great thin crispy base, probably more than we needed but we polished them off.
Added to the great food was a really good beer list, decent wines and some classic tunes, what more could you need?!
Such a good place. Bartender friendly and helpful when we walked in. Good wine with the pizza. Then the pizzas arrived perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients and great flavours. A must-stop in Perth CBD.

Great little underground joint in the heart of the city! I would never have found it if it wasn’t for a local showing me the nearby gems!!! Loved the vibe of this place! It’s pretty small and very cosy! Great food and great drinks! Will be back!
A grungy, 1950s style rock and roll pizza joint with a decent selection of beers and spirits? Alfred’s has it all. So much so, I often get this place mixed up with Frankie’s on trips to Sydney, another excellent pizza/bar combo. For those of us still on the west side, you really can’t go wrong with this gem on Barrack St just opposite Petition.
I've been here three times total, and I have to say I love this place. The pizza is fantastic, the staff are cool, but without the 'hipster' attitude, and there's old school rock music playing. What's not to love? The drink selection is excellent and Tim suggested an excellent red to go with my pizza. I've also had one of the best vodka martinis of my life here.
Big fan.
Sensational pizzeria in the basement on Barrack St! Alfred’s Pizzeria has a few pizzas by slice each evening plus a list of all your favorites as a whole. Couple these with an extensive range of beers and your night is taken care of.
Alfred’s Pizzeria offers a simple formula to those who enter the basement bar – good drinks, good pizza, good rock music. If you’re a fan of any of those three things, chances are you’ll love Alfred’s.
Amazing Pizza.
We visited on a Saturday night around 6pm and it was already busy. The décor is interesting - lots to look at. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked for a mocktail (saw this on someone else's review) and the girl made a pineapple one which was delicious. We then ordered one of each of the "pizza by the slice" flavours and they were all amazing. We were struggling to choose a favourite - but perhaps the mushroom one won in the end. The toppings and flavours were fantastic and the base itself was to die for. The pizza was that good we could not resist ordering another one to take home. YUM!
Hubby and I came here on a Friday night around 6.30pm and only had a short wait for a table (they don't take bookings). We sat at the bar and planned to keep an eye out for an available table down the back but decided it was more fun where we were. The cocktail list is short but they are happy to receive requests so I ordered an apple martini which the bartender said he made with a twist. It was delicious! We ordered two pizzas- the Big Al and the Suzi Quatro with prosciutto. Simple and bloody tasty! We stayed for a few hours and enjoyed more drinkies and chatting with the staff. They were really friendly and helpful and wouldn't even accept a tip. I love this place - it's small and funky with groovy music, great food and lovely staff. I just wish it was closer to him but then again best it's not as I would be there every week!!
This local place is now my one of my favourite hangs . Service is friendly and efficient , pizza is tasty with delicious toppings . Definitely will be back.
