I came to Rubra for my 22nd birthday with my family. They kindly arrange balloons and a birthday sign on our table, which was a surprise for me! Without being asked, they bought me a chocolate brownie with a candle on it, and sung me happy birthday! The staff were attentive, caring and such great people! The food was incredible, I would totally recommend the eggs benedict!
I had a lovely coffee here yesterday. I live over east, but have family here with whom I try to catch up and share time together.
Today I enjoyed a leisurely brunch with my niece, we both decided we wanted to share two dishes, so we ordered the natural meusli and poached eggs with mushroom and tomato. This was no problem to the staff, who presented the food so beautifully.
The warmth and personable friendliness of the staff, great service, the venue and the food were delightful.
We stayed longer, ordered cake, to share and another coffee and had the owner come and have a chat, sharing a bit about her business.

This is a great little cafe in the beautiful swan river. Great coffee, with friendly staff and nice chilled vibe. I seriously had the best bacon and egg roll ever here! Really post experience

Went for breakfast, they have a limited standard menu - nothing too fancy but it’s decent and done well. Waitress was lovely and views were great.
Beautiful place with amazing staff. Wish there was more heaters around the outdoor seats though.
We were looking for a place with water views and atmosphere and stumbled on Rubra. Sylvie had Herbed Mushrooms on Toast and I had the Crab Croquettes with salad. The meals were outstanding for presentation, taste and size. The lady who served us was efficient and very helpful and friendly. We would recommend coming to Rubra if you're looking for a lovely spot to have a drink or meal. Well done and thank you to the Rubra team
