Good little cafe, very busy with both dine in and takeaway customers. - had the Salmon Eggs Benedict it was great overall! Bread was alittle soft and the hollandaise wasn’t very rich and creamy but overall a very delicious hearty breakfast. Really great portion sizing!

Loved our brekky at Bread! The mocha was super rich and creamy! Highly recommend any of the bennies, but a home made hashbrown or two on the side is MANDATORY! Seriously unlike any hashie I've had!

We would like to provide the following feedback to Bread Espresso Bar as we recently had a 50th birthday party at home and came to Nick and his team at Bread Espresso Bar to provide the catering.
All we can say is WOW!!
From our initial meeting with Nick to the final collection of the beautiful food, it was seamless, professional, positive and everything we could have wanted.
With discussion, Nick was also flexible enough to make any changes we wanted and talked us through the whole process, solving any queries we had along the way.
The food was in quantities that we chose and had a mixture of vegetarian and meat dishes. Everything was hand made and it showed in the exceptional taste and quality.
The quality and price of the food was second to none and our guests were very, very impressed. So impressed that we were left with almost no leftovers for the next day – unfortunately for us!!
Nick set everything up so that we weren't in the kitchen the whole night preparing and heating up food which was awesome. We were relaxed and able to enjoy our night with our well fed, happy guests.
We would recommend Nick and his amazing team at Bread Espresso Bar to anyone requiring catering. They are professional, cost effective, flexible and very friendly.
Thanks so much Nick!

We ordered the vegetarian breakfast & bread breakfast this morning. Was soo yummy, only downfall was the hashbrows were spicy for us. I think this should be stated on the menu as we couldn't eat it, too hot for us.
The iced coffee was yummy too.
Lovely Cafe.

This used to be a great place to grab a coffee or brekky - but not anymore unfortunately. My 'Cappuccino' was a cup of re-heated milk sprinkled with copious amounts of chocolate powder which looked awful when presented at the table. The Big Breakfast was another disappointment with the sausage burnt on the outside and raw on the inside and terrible and tasteless bacon. Feedback was provided when the table was cleared, but the venue had already accepted our money and did not care.
So disappointed that I am never returning again.

After reading the good reviews on Google about this little cafe, we decided to head there on a rainy Sunday. I got Bread Breakfast (big breakfast), my wife had the smoked salmon Benedict and two of my little ones shared a bread made beef lasagna. The staff were very friendly and the lattes were reasonable. However, we were a bit disappointed with our food. Most of the bacon on my plate was overcooked and shivered to more of like pieces of dessicated crackers. But my 4 years old seemed to think they were crunchy and yummy. The worse was my poached eggs which resembled more of hard boiled eggs. Same thing happened to the poached eggs on my wife's dish and her smoked salmon appeared partially cooked on the bread too. I am not sure what happened on that day but the dishes definitely were not quite up to what we expected from a 4+ stars cafe.

Nice decor, unwelcoming staff.
No kitchen food, and no explanation as to why, or when it is available. Specifically came for the breakfast, which looks great in previous reviews, instead ended up with a toasted foccacia which was decent enough, and my coffee. Parking is a pain, 2 roadside spots and a few over in this awkward corner parking lot.
If you are in the area, worth a look. I wouldn't make a longer trip to specifically come here.

Discovered this little gem a few weekends back and just returned for our second breakfast this morning. Good food. Good service. Good vibe. Nothing to fault here. Our new fave for breaky.

We have been keeping an eye on this space and was thrilled to see it had opened as we only live a 2 minute walk from Bread. We decided to have breakfast on Sunday and walked down with our pooch. Needless to say we both left VERY satisfied! Their menu had great options at a great price, their coffee was also perfect! I had the crumpets and I thoroughly enjoyed it, my only advice to bread would be to have more slices of the spiced pear throughout as it was delicious when combined with the crumpet, I only had 3 pieces of pear which wasn't enough to compliment my entire dish, but I still enjoyed it! My partner had the fried chicken and potato Rosti and he said that it's the best rosti he has had in Perth, and that fried chicken was so light and juicy! Was a great morning and we will be back many times to work our way through the menu!

Awesome menu with something for everyone. Breakfast was delicious! We will be back for lunch, pastrami burger looks like a winner! Thanks.

Finally got to try out Bread and it did not disappoint! The coffee was top shelf, and the corned beef benedict and bhaji were out of this world!
I'm glad this is only a few minutes away and is now my new local. Keep up the great work and fab service

Brilliant breakfast here today and the coffee was great too. Thoroughly recommend.

We had the toasted breakfast bagels this morning and they were stuffed full of bacon, egg, caramalised onions, roasted tomatoes. Delicious! We'll be back!

A great coffee now available on a Monday. I love good coffee and Como has a few great places but all are closed on a Monday. Just trialled Bread and the coffee is great! I will be back for more coffee and to trial the amazing looking menu.

What a gem. Lovely location, very nice decor, fabulous coffee and food and amazingly friendly service. Worth going up to Perth from Mandurah just to go here.

Food is great and the service is very good. They filled up our bike groups water bottles including ice on a hot day. This kind of customer service really stands out and we'll definately be back.

We were a bit put off by the recent poor reviews but whatever the issue, it wasn't a problem yesterday. We had good coffee, they accommodated my juice request and the food was really good. I had the chicken salad that had qn awesome dressing on it. He had a burger and it even had beetroot on it. And it had delicious homemade chippies. Service was good and the outside seating was lovely. I can recommend this cafe again at least on a Sunday afternoon.

*3.5 stars, no major negatives. Lovely service, good coffee and a well managed but small space. Pork belly Benedict and regular bacon Benedict were both let down by unimpressive hollandaise sauce. Would definitely pop in again if I lived in the area.

We had been to 'Bread' a few times when it first opened and really enjoyed it, however when we returned this morning, it was so disappointing we wondered it if had changed hands. Husband had scrambled eggs - without a word of a lie, there were no more than a couple of tbsps of eggs on tiny pieces of toast. I ordered poached eggs with a side of avocado for extra cost of course. This consisted of a smear of pureed avocado underneath one of the eggs and two tiny pieces of toast. To give credit, the poached eggs were nicely cooked, but the scrambled were a bit average. Tea was good and coffee very good. A pity, as this cafe got off to a very good start on our first visits - what happened??

Interesting breakfast, brunch, and lunch options and yummy freshly baked bread to take home too. Friendly and open past 3pm - coffee to get you through the afternoon! Try the mini donuts...

My crumpets ($14) missed the mark today. More like mini pancakes minus a definite crumpet taste. Not sure what they spice the pears with but it was really odd and didn't complement the rest of the dish. The "crumpets", pears, passionfruit yogurt and flaked almonds were sadly just independent flavors all piled on the one plate. Didn't blend in with each other or on the palate. Tiny serve too for the price.
On the upside, the coffee was quite nice and the service very friendly and fast.

Such a lovely little café! Everything on the menu is easily of a restaurant standard and the drinks are all spectacular. Defs recommend the chicken burger with tangy coleslaw and any of their fresh pressed juices. The owners are so kind and friendly, so the place has a really nice vibe.

I love this place! The best cafe in Como by far and the place is always so welcoming and has AWESOME coffee!
Can't recommend it enough.
I have tried their juice, their croissants and coffee thus far and all 3 I have tried have been 5 stars!

Spotted this newly opened cafe a few weeks ago and has been on our "to do list" for a while. At 3pm on a sunday arvo most cafes in Perth are sadly closed, so we were very pleasently suprised to find bread not only open, but for a couple more hours (5pm).

The owner served us and was very friendly and explained the cafes menu/specials. We didn't have any food just coffees, which were well made and tasted great.

The menu was extensive, well priced and the owner advised everything was made in house, including the bread, slices and cakes.

We are going to head back soon and try the food, the home made crumpets sounded delicious.

Thumbs up for high chairs, free baby cinos and 5pm closing ☺
