I love this little local bar - it has a relaxed casual atmosphere,yet is really comfortable and not at all intimidating ..Staff are welcoming , helpful and friendly ..Great place for a solitary quiet drink , heart to heart with a few friends or just as good for a larger group catch-up (recommend booking if latter as it can get pretty busy on weekends ..)
Great array of tasty and healthy small dishes as well as share platters (staff helpful with selections !)
Good range of beers /wine and alcoholic as well as non alcoholic beverages ....Never been to a Quiz night there but certainly plan to - seems to be popular as a meeting spot for local groups ...
Don’t think anyone I’ve ever taken here has said anything negative - a local gem ....
PS.Special mention to the delightful young lady who is behind the counter most times I’ve been there - lovely smile , positive ‘can do ‘ approach - a real asset ....

After a long Friday lunch we ended up here. It was very busy however from the moment we entered, I felt I was local and felt very welcomed. It didn't take us long to find a little nook and sit back and relax. Missed match furniture and a very hip vibe. Service is great, and staff and very knowledgable and efficient.
We tried a few little snacks, sausage rolls, squid and chips. All were very tasty but the squid was a stand out . Would highly recommend this bar, especially if you want a change from Subi and feel more like your in the suburbs amongst friends .
Very attentive & friendly staff, reasonably priced and generous tapas and especially loved the tap beer! Would definitely return - worth a visit! Thankyou!
This place is a great spot in suburbia if you're in the area and want a tasty beverage. It is what it is though, they serve booze (if you can catch them open) and you sit on totally random couches and seats that aren't always the most practical or convenient but if you want to feel like you're in a house and want someone else to serve you and do the dishes afterwards this is the place. Great fries.
Lovely funky bar with out the feeling of try hard . The owner works really hard and remembers everyone's name.
The bars serves lots of different types of beers, wine etc that you most likely haven't had before! Highly recommend
We like this neighbourhood, unpretentious, dive. We always see the same man behind the bar and the vibe is more a casual social club than a destination. This is our go to, local, one drink, simple snack food, Friday night place! Love the fact that I don't need to dress up and the soft furnishings encourage intimate conversation, not keeping up with the Jones!

Great revamp of this place. Fitout is sophisticated, service is excellent and squid was top notch. A great new place to share with friends.
Good for a tipple late at night or when you fancy getting away from the usual drivel on Rokeby Road
Great venue, tucked away in Subiaco , wouldn't know it was there if wasn't recommended by business partner and friends.
Celebrated my birthday and the bar service/kitchen service was on point. Very happy with everything, the salted rhubarb cocktail was a firm crowd favourite. Let me bring my own cake even without any issues at all. Everyone who attended had an amazing night. Memories made. Thankyou Unicorn Bar team!

Our family had a 30th wedding anniversary there Saturday night for our 80 year old parents. It was the perfect place for a very mixed family group. The staff were extremely attentive and warm and went out of their way to help us. The food was also delicious and they accommodated our needs so well. Well done guys. Gorgeous bar, we will be back often, as you're just around the corner from them. Xxx
Cosy & quaint suburban ( Shenton Park posh) converted old style shop. Amazing wine menu, great food and efficient friendly service. One of the few bars with a good outside seating. Love the touch of blankets for winter al fresco and the cute bucket chairs. Gets busy on weekends and has a good vibe.
We went there as an off chance with two children, and three adults, everything from wow to go was perfect, we had the cutest bar man I think he was Cody, he made the night sooo special with us and a joke or three, about Nana, we will be back really quickly. Perfect. Helen and Jessika.
