Waffles is always good at gelare. Staff was excellent helped us when we had trouble choosing which to get. Place is clean and well organised.
I always love your ice creams but never tried waffles. It was first time I had them with bananas and ice cream and I can't imagine how good it was. Would try other flavours soon. Thanks guys
Can't go wrong with waffles and ice cream on a rainy day or any day for that matter. Not a very big place but we still managed to fit 10 of us on a table! Our orders came pretty quick, and we also demolished our waffles pretty quick too!
Gelare is always one of mu favorite ice cream place due to its many choices of flavour, plenty sitting area, half-price waffle on Tuesday, reasonable pricing and of course the taste is not too bad either!
What let me down a little bit from Gelare Perth CBD branch is the fact that they use plastic plate and spork to serve the ice cream. It reduces the appeal really.
Nonetheless, location is very strategic as it is right in the heart of CBD and of course I don't mind dropping by for a scoop or two of this delicious Gelare ice cream.
Half price Tuesdays for large waffles^^ don't order the regular waffle as it only applies to large waffles only :P service was standard, waiting time was OK, waffle seems to be a bit dry than usual but still taste alright..
Came here for half price Tuesday. The waffles were good as usual, but what's up with the plastic cutlery? The plastic forks and knives are so ridiculous to use on waffles. Overall good tasting waffle and presentation.
I got a scoop of their Swiss Chocolate Caramel and then took a seat out in the hot sun to savour the flavours. Really delicious.
I tried the double chocolate (vegan), and I didn't regret my choice, interesting alternative and great taste :)
+ the cones were different from the typical one you get in ice-cream shops, probably some of the best I ate in my life :p
waffles are awesome, and the ice-cream is pretty good too (with quite a range). but their coffee is pretty average. very friendly staff here, and its a pretty good spot to just chill when in the city.
Excellent! Tiny bit pricey but worth it for what you get. Paid $16.50 for the waffle pictured (one scoop of ice cream) and a small long black. Both coffee and waffle were delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful and I’ll definitely be returning.

This is the go-to place for post dinner outings. Have been visiting this place very often. The ice cream portions are really good and so are the thick shakes.
Quite a lot of variety. I personally love the Black Currant Ice Cream and the Dark Silky Chocolate. It's pure bliss.
Took a bus into town and enjoyed a walk. Stopped here for coffee and goodie. So many wonderful treats and not enough time to enjoy them all. After what we had, and after reading other reviews ... guess I better try the waffles. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We sat outside, watch the people and nibbled on our treats. Planning to make a habit of this place. This area of town in very nice to walk, shop and hang out.
Recently we visited several other locations ... all are very nice, clean and wonderful.
Literally the most delicious waffles, I understand that some people say that the pricing is high but have you been to dome or any other cafes? They sell waffles for around the same price, if not more, and 99% of the time they’re taken from a packet and put onto your plate.
This place makes fresh waffles to order and they are just to die for. Super warm, crispy on the outside & fluffy in the middle. I came in tonight whilst waiting for my partner to finish work and got the small waffles with cream, syrup & peanut butter cup ice cream - and an iced mocha, I could not have got a better combination yummm.
Not to mention, the guys in here have great customer service! Always have a smile & are happy to serve you!
