5. Dreamy.
Pancakes so fluffy. Lemon curd so smooth and sharp. And did I mention the deep fried poached eggs?
Noise level: normal.
Accessibility: they have steps inside but you can be seated out front.
Cute little retro cafe - small space, small but well chosen menu and lovely helpful staff. A bit out of the way but would come again if nearby.

Cute cafe to spend weekend with lots of toys and good food! I try their wagon wheels and beef risoles! Feels like I get back to my childhood age. Playing while eating is one of my favourite But every parents would not let us do it as a child 🤣🤣 . Love to be here!
Overall good experience. A+ for the decor and the retro vibe. We ordered the jam lamington milkshake, lime thick shake, beef and Brie burger and fish finger sanga. Each item was interesting however felt they just slightly fell short of the mark in terms of wow factor. The beef burger was dry, the shakes weren’t icy cold (just room temperature) and the price is just a tad over. We will be back though!
Such a cute place that brings you back to your childhood.
There were checkered tablecloths and retro boardgames you can play with while you are there.
The food is amazing as well. We got:
- bacon and egg roll
- veggie burger
- mac and cheese jaffa (this wasn't on the menu but I asked and the kitchen made it especially for me and it was amazing!)
- chocolate fudge milkshake
We also got a bag of lollies on the way out.
I love this place.
I have been dreaming about coming here for ages, and my wish was finally granted!!! My inner child was awakened by the bright decoration and candy bar, and the retro music spread positive vibes. We ordered the mushroom burger ($14), mac n cheese($8), red hot Benny brekky ($18.50), a banana split ($15) and two milkshakes: the pavlova and vegan shake. The mac n cheese was a big portion for its price and a great comfort food, and the eggs Benedict was unique with its sriracha sauce and deep fried eggs. Along with the smoked salmon, avocado and spinach, it had all of my favourite things on a plate. :) The milkshakes brought back childhood memories but were tad too sweet for me to finish, and the banana split was the star of the show, with the gourmet icecream and caramel. This is the perfect location to go with friends!

A bit on the pricey side, but what isn't these days THOUGH it was definitely worth it.
Breakfast burrito was perfect alongside a perfect cookies n cream milkshake. Coffee was just right. Service was quick, happy and genuine.
We'll be back!
Adorable little diner, gets busy very quickly so I recommend making a booking. Affordable prices and some nostalgic dishes like mac n cheese + FAIRY BREAD! Try the deluxe milkshakes, make sure you read the chalkboard for special of the day.
If you're pushing 35 and up, Daisy's Milk Bar will take you straight back to your Redskins eating, FADS smoking, Double Dip snorting childhood spent at your local milk bar! The prices may have gone up but the memories will come flooding back!
We ordered the caramel and rocky road milk shakes. Both were so delicious that Miffy dived in! The rocky road was the "milkshake of the week" but it was that good that should become a permanent fixture of Daisy's, next to the multicolored plastic door strip curtain!
For lunch we had breakfast! The breakfast burrito was packed with eggs, chorizo, bacon, potato and homemade goodness! The Daisy's Breakfast had homemade cheesy tater tots! Worth it just for these! But the sausage, baked beans and everything else on the massive plate was delicious!
The staff are friendly, the food is awesome, the music is great! (Kenny Loggins - Danger Zone is in their mix!) Lot's of Uber Eats were going out the door but the staff looked after the patrons. They've definitely taken on the feedback from past reviews.
We'll definitely be back again.... after Miffy has a bath!
The best recreation of the classic eggs benny I've ever experienced!! Service was great and all the staff were quite friendly. Lovely, homely atmosphere with classic Aussie tracks pumping from the stereo. Highly recommended!'
This cute American diner style cafe is as pretty as a daisy with friendly, smiling staff, great tasting food, a good selection of sweet treats daily & one of the most delectable old school millshakes or thickshakes. You will be addicted to come back and try all of their shakes! The breakfast burrito is delicious & hearty, love the generous portion of pesto eggs & the jaffles are a great snack or light meal. Love their house made wagon wheels and rocky road and slices and pies and those shakes!!!

Brekky on a Sunday morning. Coffee was decent and came quickly. Chorizo and egg Burrito was nice if very Oily. Avocado Toast was solid but nothing spectacular. Cool fun decor and worth checking out, will be back for lunch soon
Good food portion sizes for the price. Food great tasting, good vegan options. The thickshake was amazing, one of the best I've ever had. Staff are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. Will definitely be coming back soon!
You must visit this place. Not just once. But again and again and again. The food, the service, the atmosphere, the uniqueness... It's all here. I could write an entire essay about why you should visit this shop, but I'd just be wasting your time. So just stop reading and just go see for yourself. This is a hidden gem that's hidden in plain sight along a heavy traffic section of Stanmore Rd. I can't believe I've been driving past the shop for years and never realised it's been there. It's kids friendly too. Parking around on the side streets.
With service as sweet as the menu, Daisy’s Milkbar is a delight from the moment you walk through the door. Serving sizes for main meals are generous and reasonably priced. The pavlova milkshake is a real highlight, but it’s next to impossible to pick a single favourite menu item.
Daisy’s Milkbar is more than just a place to eat - it’s a sensory experience.
The food was super tasty and atmosphere nostalgic. Definitely coming back to try the new cocktails and play a few rounds of Uno (-:
