Anna Smith Georgia Smith and I had an impromptu dinner at #baume #baumerestaurant last night at #Benean (the old Lindemann Site) and we were genuinely impressed with the food and the service was 5 star led by Nick, who is a top grade asset. Sagnaki Prawns were my fave. The Savannah Estate Chardy was a delight and we left room deserts and the caramel cheesecake was superb and the girls loved the Panna Cotta. Nice to see the site going great and they had a near full house so the secret is out.
Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you for delicious food and wine. The service and food was outstanding. Special mention to Georgia and Ellie for taking care of our table. We will be back �
Wine tasting here was a great experience. The host Micheal was one of the wine makers and very knowledgable. The set out created a very nice atmosphere for tasting. You had a choice of at the bar or a table setting. For me ( a red drinker) all the wines were fantastic and I ended up buying several.
Generous servings at amazing prices !
We had the lamb shoulder, Nashi pear salad and roast pumpkin.
Finished off dinner with a martini tiramisu.
We ended up taking half of what we ordered to go - not kidding about the generous servings.
Would highly recommend if you're looking for great value feed in the Hunter Valley

Bec was our host when visiting the cellar door. We cannot speak more highly of her. She was friendly, knowledgeable & made the whole experience enjoyable. It was our first stop and one of the ladies purchased TEN bottles, if that doesn’t say something I’m not sure what else could. Absolutely add this to your itinerary, we will not hesitate to return the next time we visit the Hunter.
Fantastic food, great size, great admasphere, awesome taste, family friendly, professional. Best food we had for a long while. We will be back again! Anyone gave one star, go get a life.

Excellent prawn linguine, arancini and calamari, but the highlight was the garlic prawns with toast. Super creamy, garlicky and delicious!
Service was really good, polite and friendly. We'll definitely be back again.
We loved the wine tasting here by Kevin the Scotsman. He is very welcoming and has great knowledge, not only of the wines of the Hunter, but the wines of Australia and beyond. The quality of the wines on tasting was exceptional.
The cheese/deli/chocolate shop upstairs is well worth a visit - delicious produce for tasting and sale. Also on the same site is Baumé restaurant, which I’ve also written a 5* review for. Great value, excellent service.
