100% recommend this place! I’m from Adelaide but in Melbourne for a work course, I’ve come here 3 days in a row and love the coffee, juice and vege muffins, the staff are so friendly and the atmosphere is beautiful, thank you Chez Mademoiselle! Will definitely come back when in Melbourne
Went in today for a sneaky box of gorgeous pastries, a Skinny magic (done beautifully & deliciously by the way), a large chai latte (so delicious, it was finished before we even took 10 steps), and just loved the atmosphere, très mignon décor and lovely staff members!
Thank you and what a stylish & cute little place you have here!
Definitely coming back and telling all my friends!
Wonderful coffee and the complimentary mini madeleines are such a cute touch! Super 🙂
Lovely little cafe with small but tasty menu and quality coffee. Staff were very friendly too. I had the green juice which was great (not too sweet), the Niçoise salad and added blue cheese and a cappuccino. I really enjoyed the salad and loved how generous they were with the fresh tuna. I also thought the complementary madeleines with your coffee was a nice touch
I tried the decaf mocha and it had a regular flavour, not bad and not superbly good. The place itself is modern and elegant which is a delight. The walls and ceilings are textured suggesting care and attention to details. The coffee brand used is Dark Horse made with La Marzocco machine. And the price was ~4 dollars.
Cute French cafe with a great menu selection. The coffee is good and their selection of cakes and muffins are to die for! Service can be abit slow at times but the staff are very friendly.
We arrived right before the masses and it was really enjoyable. Friendly and smiley staff, soft music, amazing decor. Ordered a strong cap and a croque monsieur. Both missed the mark but not by much. The CM should have been slightly more crunchy while the cappuccino didn’t have a dome and the dusting on top had a weird twist that reminded me of caramel. Apart from that everything else was pretty amazing. Worth checking it out and worth coming back.
I’ve started ordering chocolate croissants and coffee from here in the morning and it’s been great, they’re usually really quick and the croissants are awesome!
Beautiful small breakfast place with lovely coffee and food. Went there at 10am, eating delicious breaky and warm fresh delicious cannelés, croissant and more. Staff very dedicated, nice and thoughtful. Well done.

From the people behind Chez Olivier comes their new French-style cafe, Chez Mademoiselle. Located right next door and sharing a kitchen between the two of them, Chez Mademoiselle is both a deli and cafe. As well as sweets and pastries, they offer take-home packs of some of Chez Olivier’s crowd favourite dishes to cook at home.
As a newly established, more casual offshoot of the well-known Chez Olivier, Chez Mademoiselle offers a simple yet well-executed menu that provides an authentic taste of French baked goods, momentarily transporting you to a Parisian cafe.
The beautiful French-inspired decor, coupled with the tasty offerings and impeccable service, will ensure an extravagant Parisian high tea offering like no other.
With traditional French fare and stylish décor, Chez Mademoiselle brings a touch of Parisian elegance to Prahran. Our afternoon tea included a range of excellent French treats, both savoury and sweet. It was a difficult choice, but our favourites were the tiny gougères, the croque monsieur, the lemon meringue tarts and the fruit tarts.
