After a long Covid related delay, we finally had the opportunity to explore Sandra’s culinary skills. She took us on a journey of the La Marche region and it was outstanding.
Sandra’s expertise was delivered effortlessly, as she engaged us whilst performing her food magic.
We enjoyed stuffed olives, cauliflower and pancetta soup, pasta with prawns and broccoli and topped it off with a sensational ricotta puffing.
A great night all round.
Highly recommended for a family or friends night out.
Thoroughly enjoyed my second visit to Sandra's cooking class recently and this time gained all the guidance and confidence I was hoping for to prepare and cook gnocchi. Love the setting, the practical tips, and of course, the food. What's more, as a follow up I received a very comprehensive email full of tips on where to acquire the best Italian produce around Melbourne. Great value and I have no hesitation recommending the experience to anyone with a love and interest in all things Italian.
I received a birthday gift from my sister 2 years ago but then Covid hit. Sandra was amazing, the knowledge, expertise and presentation of the whole night was perfect. The food was amazing not to mention all the additional advice Sandra gave was brilliant. I also really enjoyed the people we where together with they were so lovely which made the experience even more amazing.
We had such a great night with Sandra! Experts make their craft look effortless - and the food shared with 6 other guests around Sandra's big table was brilliant! Watching Sandra create, whilst also sharing her stories about her life, why each pasta is different and where you can find great ingredients across Melbourne is an experience worth enjoying.
We had such a great night with Sandra! It was so nice to be in a beautiful home with someone cooking dinner and teaching us in their own kitchen - felt like a family event! LOVED the food and definitely learnt some great tips for our own cooking. Highly recommend!
My wife had bought me Sandra's gnocchi cooking class for my birthday a couple of years ago and due to lockdown's etc we were finally able to go last week. In the meantime I had "taught myself" how to make gnocchi from You Tube and so was really looking forward to finding out how to do it properly. I learnt a lot from Sandra and got some great tips that I tried out on the family a few days ago - feedback was "this is the best you've ever made" and "yum, this is so tasty", and I had to agree with them!
It was a fabulous experience, and Sandra was such a gracious host with a great home. What she doesn't know about Italian cooking isn't worth knowing.
We may sign up for one of her other classes!
La Cucina di Sandra is such a great night and experience. A cooking class with a difference. It's like you've walked into your Nonna's house, somewhere in the middle is Tuscany and sat at the kitchen bench while Nonna cooks and tells you her life stories along the way. It's so much fun, relaxed, no question is a drama. The food is top quality and just delicious. Sandra is extremely knowledgeable, not just about the food she's cooking, but local tips and the world. It's a great way to spend 4 hours, enjoy amazing food with good company. Highly recommended
I bought this class for my husband for Christmas and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed the relaxed and lovely setting at Sandra's and the no nonsense approach to cooking fabulous Italian food. It was also great to enjoy it with a lively group of people. Thanks Sandra, we hope to be back to try another class.
