Came here for a quick take away. The place is unfortunately quite due to covid. At the counter we ordered a Bbq pork bao which was warmed up. The bao is soft, smoothe and fluffy. The char sui inside is tender and sweet. Great place for baos!
Roast duck was delicious and the buns were like little clouds- went perfectly together and definitely will be back for this dish again! Must get a Vietnamese iced coffee if you like your coffees strong and sweet! It was superb!!!!
We can never go past this place whenever we’re in Richmond. The roast duck here is one of the best in town! They also have a wide range of pastries which are amazing. Love the egg tarts and the sesame balls!
Yum Cha here on Sunday and it was great. A good selection available for those who like meat and seafood. And we love they congee so mush. Service was quick and food was delicious. We all enjoyed our food.
This rating is based solely on the BBQ pork puffs (char siew sou) and egg tarts we bought from here. The BBQ pork puff pastry was so good - flaky and golden on the outside, crumbly and moist on the inside. The BBQ pork inside was generous with the crust layer relatively thin - making the consistency of the pastry even more impressive.
The egg tart also had very nice and flaky layers of pastry on the outside, rather than short crust. The egg custard was incredibly balanced between soft and firm.
Would definitely recommend these two here in particular. I'd wager that if these were marketed as part of a new store for the Millennial crowd, it would do so much better than so many of the other new stores in the CBD.
My family and I are obsessed with Minh Tan 2. You know the place is legit when my Asian High EE family loves it.
We usually come for yumcha, no frills and nothing fancy, but delicious and great quality food, great roasts, and absolutely delectable egg tarts.
And all this with the friendliest and most genuine service.
Love love love —> obsessed.
Will be back on the reg. ⭐️
Newly renovated restaurant that specializes in Vietnamese and Cantonese cuisine. Randomly ordered Mapo Tofu which wasn’t even on the menu after a quick conversation with the waiter. The quality is always quite consistent here so I knew it would be decent, but I must say it was better than expected. Wasn’t that spicy but it had great flavor and texture, felt really fresh. Will mostly likely order it again next time I’m there. HOT TIP: grab a sweet from the bakery at the front, my favourite is the red bean bun 😋
Newly renovated restaurant in the heart of Victoria street. For entree, we had the san choi bow with duck and satay skewers - both solid. For main we had the prawns with mixed veggies (bit too bland) and beef with honey and pepper sauce. The beef was very tender. Extremely attentive service. And the verdict - will we be back? Possibly.
The only Yum Cha in Richmond. The place is not exactly appealing on the visual front it's dark and gloomy but the food is actually not too bad 🤣
Amazing yum cha food, there was a queue however the wait wasn't too long. Great service and each table is given a bottle of chilli and soy sauce which never happens at any other yum Cha place. Price was reasonable too, will definitely return!
Cozy place for gathering with friends and family. Food are great and friendly service. I also love their sesame balls.
Had yum cha here previously. It was a good experience. Recently I came back to pick up some takeaway baos. The combination bao was delicious but unfortunately there were no more custard buns left.

Delicious and authentic. Awesome portion sizes and quick service.
The two of us popped in for lunch today (Sunday). Walking down Victoria Street, and it stuck out because there were quite a few people inside. Looked promising.
The ordering process was a little confusing because I think we unknowingly walked in to what we later realised was during Yum Cha service. Possibly explains why we saw a limited menu with no prices. Service was nice enough to cater for the dishes we wanted though we had a slight language barrier.
Food was right on point! Fresh & lots of flavours. Loved the Dim Sum!
In a very hit & miss area, I'm happy with the result. Oh & street parking was easy to find - $4 for 2 hours.
The is our favourite place to eat. Alway's make a beeline for our favourite restaurant when visiting the city. Fresh delicious food served promptly! 😋
Lovely Chinese food. Drinks I found a little pricey, service was ok considering how busy it was for mother's day, had to ask for waiters attention a couple of times. Atmosphere was so-so. Some small miscommunication problems (language barrier). Short wait for food which was a plus. Seriously good food.
