Review Palace Of North India - Rozelle

My order was delivered very late. When it arrived it wasn’t my order. I rang the restaurant to advise and their response was, you want I refund. They had no care or interest in the fact they had stuffed up not only my order but the order of the person I received. When my order did arrive it was terrible. Like it was out if a tin. Do not bother with this so called restaurant. Service and food is a joke.

Have walked by this place a lot and believe that it smells just lovely, yesterday I decided to try my chances and bought a few curries at a very decent price, I was astounded by the generous servings, the service and the look of the shop. I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back for round two. Many thanks

Been coming to this place for years, unfortunately i wont be going back after getting a 'vegan' dish only to discover it contained several large pieces of meat mixed with the dish. The cross contamination control is deplorable and shouldn't claim vegan or vegetation as it stands now.

The food was okay, but when I called to say the order was missing items and I was accused of lying. The owner of the restaurant had a horrible attitude and they made no effort to rectify the issue. They just accused me of lying and stole by refusing to supply the missing items or refund the portion which was missing.

I had a great experience here! I had ordered some dishes for my whole family and had trouble selecting what dishes I should have! Luckily I had an exceptional help from the two very sweet girls! I would like to thank you very much! Everyone loved it and will definitely come back here to try something new again!

I have been coming to this place for quite a while now and I have to say they always provide good and tasty food. The prices are decent as if you get curries on rice it is more cheaper! The staff are always friendly and always bring a smile on your face! In terms of options, I have noticed that after 5pm they have more options to choose from in contrary to the afternoon. Overall I would recommend this place.

My favourite curry place in the area. Good food, reasonably priced.

I personally had an amazing experience here! I am a vegetarian and I had ordered Eggplant and Potato which was absolutely delicious! The shahi Paneer is also really tasty and will definitely recommend it to everyone. Very friendly staff with bright smiles. Oh and you must try their vegetarian samosas!!! It’s absolutely delicious!! But warning you may get addicted to them like me!! Thanks guys

Ordered Chicken Biryani and I must say it was the WORST WORST Chicken biryani in the history of biryanis. IT was small chunks of chicken added to onion tomato rice. Plus the chicken pieces were half burnt and too tough to chew. They surely don't know what a Biryani is. It was sooo damn pathetic that I would have given negative stars if given an option... I am never in my life ordering or visiting this place again... Not at all recommended. If you are looking for authentic biryani try Nawaaz, Glebe.

Best Indian in Rozelle for the price you pay. The service is exceptional and will always serve with a smile. Their garlic naans are the best in Sydney!

Not too sure why there are so many bad reviews for this place. The food is at food court/fast food curry prices and I would say the taste is a little better than what you get there. Ordered the butter chicken and the eggplant and potato with garlic and cheese naan. The curries are not as rich and creamy as what you’d get at a restaurant but fast food wise, it’s pretty good. I liked my eggplant and potato, good hit of spices. The butter chicken wasn’t as buttery and sweet as what my partner enjoys (aka western) but I had a dip and it tasted not too bad in my opinion. Had a good smoky tandoor taste to it and wasn’t too sweet. I liked the naan as well - had a good garlicky punch and heaps of cheese. For the price I paid, I’m not too fused with the food I got.

Wish I read reviews before eating here. I was starving when I drove past so thought I’d stop in to get some food. What I got was hardly edible. The butter chicken was extremely watery and the flavor was very bland. I ate two mouthfuls and threw the rest out. I won’t be eating from here again.

My lamb saag was not green? and the lamb was actually too tough to chew. The curries are glossy, I have no idea why?
Put some on my rice and it turned into a bowl of rice and water (see picture)! Also my two chicken dishes a chicken curry and chicken tiika smelt very strange, I took one bite and spat it out, it was very weird like a plastic type smell and taste

"Chicken massala" was absolutely the worst curry I've ever had. Went in the bin after two mouthfuls.

Clearly nothing was fresh (rice, bread included). Murky and watery. Sloppy wet chicken (who uses thighs in a curry?!). No herbs or vegetables. Tasteless.

As it was a takeaway I had unfortunately already paid and they refused a refund claiming it was fresh and no one else was unwell as a result. If I was dining in the 'restaurant' I would have left without paying.

Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere, you may pay a few more bucks but it hopefully won't be completely inedible.

The ambience is more like a take away shop and the food,we'll the curry was watery but my gf liked the vege korma! There medium sized plate is good value and bigger than it looks and i found that they werent stingy with the curry,so the dilemma is do you want cheap food that isn't that good? Up to you.....

Rozelle Palace of North India. This place would rank in my top 3 as the worst curry in Sydney (possibly NSW but more likely Australia).
I ordered Chicken Curry, Beef Vindaloo and Lamb Saag. All inedible. Unable to proceed after multiple chew of first inedible piece of meat in each dish. Just rubbish.
The chef obviously does not eat the food he creates. Will NEVER try again.

Never eat here. Just shocking! Never order food here. Rude staff, poor food and worst experience I have ever had.
Curry was forgotten, and we were lied to by staff who said it being delivered, never received the curry and weren't given a refund.
Don't eat here!
