Really nice cafe, they don't need the bells ans whistles of your typical hip cafes as the food is a stand out. I had the cajun chicken salad with golden latte and husband had the chicken sandwich with a cappuccino. Was a really high standard, portion sizes were great and only cost $40. Will visit again, next time for breakfast! Thanks for a great meal!!

Nice atmosphere for brunch but also for take aways too. My all time favourites are their chicken & mushroom linguine and grilled lamb w/ pita ‘n’ garden salad. Reasonable portions and freshly made orders.
Welcomed by warm service on a chilly winter afternoon. Their chicken & mushroom linguine was delightful - well seasoned chicken, generous amount of mushrooms, tasty sauce. Also liked their grilled lamb & pita bread with yogurt & garden salad. The curry eggs were unfortunately not so enjoyable, would have preferred a Thai curry to a Japanese curry.
Had the most delicious lemon and poppyseed muffin with a dash of honey on the side and a lovely hot powder chai latte. Have also eaten breakfast here and the French toast was great too!
It has been a while since i have experienced such good old fashioned SERVICE!! Our first time at the elephant, party of 6, divine coffee, amazing food... had the eggs benedict it came with real ham!! Everuobe loved their food. But the service wow!! Cant wait to go back!
Sensational !!! The friendly, professional and highly efficient welcoming service is just the starting point on how amazing and truly wonderful The Elefant Lounge Cafe truly is. This juices are fresh and leave the tastebuds screaming with joy. Honestly it's not an easy thing to achieve to do it in the right manner with the flavours that are infused together. The food is heavenly and honestly some of the best I've had in a long long time. I'll be returning here again and again as this is my new favourite hotspot in Melbourne. Well done to the chef, staff and also I have to mention the beautiful decor of the venue.
My husband and I come here a lot for breakfast when waking the dog. Fantastic little cafe. Service is great. Portions are large and very tasty. Good coffee too :-)
I use to walk past this place a lot in the morning. Looked so cute so I had to make time to come here on the weekend hehe I enjoyed an orange/apple juice and avocado toast with added mushrooms. The waitress was really cheery, polite and helpful. Put me in a good mood haha
The only down side is not being able to substitute anything on the menu, other than that everything was great :)
Cute Casual Brunch Cafe. Came here last week on a hangover after a big night out of drinking & their menu was perfect for the occasion & just made us extremely hungry! I had the open pan Omelette with Swiss Cheese & Ham, my partner had the Poached eggs with toast & sides & our friend had the Moroccan Eggs. I loved loved LOVED my Omelette! It was amazing how the combination of the sharp taste of Swiss Cheese complimented the Ham & Eggs really well. I had a try of the Moroccan eggs & it was good as well. Simple menu, easy to understand with good flavours going, less than 20 items to choose from which makes it even more easier to choose what to get, fast service, great casual feel to the cafe which makes you want to chillex all day there & friendly staff. It's going be another one of our regular cafe's now.
Great service, great coffee and a very relaxed atmosphere. I come here every weekend for my coffee.
Interestingly here in Australia, the idea of a Spanish omelette is not even remotely close to what a real Spanish omelette is.
That said, my "Spanish" omelette and coffee at Elefant Lounge Cafe were delicious and the staff was friendly and attentive so I'll definitely drop by again if I'm in the area.
Cosy lounge with dark bamboo panelling. Friendly attentive staff and a delicious meal and coffee. Perfect location right next to the train station if you need a meal before or after a visit to the city or a walk along the local beach. You can sit and watch the local action from the bank of windows.
Nice little cafe with friendly staff. I had a nice grilled vegetarian sandwich. Iced chocolate looked delicious. Outdoor seating available if you are looking to warm up in the sun while you have breakfast.
Great little spot for Breakfast or Brunch right next to the Sandringham Train Station and just minutes walk form the beach. The breakfast menu is awesome, very difficult to make a decision. They make a good cup of coffee and service is great.
Best coffee in Sandringham village. Small coffee is 2 dollars between 7 and 8 am Mon to Fri. Great for train catchers. Very cosy, quiet atmosphere, not as busy as other cafe's in the area. Very quick coffee making and service too
I stopped here for coffee and lunch with friends and got a good experienced from lovely staff members and owner. I ordered beef burger and mocha and it was so lovely. I asked for extra hot and I got the right temperature. Staffs are so attentive and friendly. I really recommend this place to stop by.
