It has been a long time since we last fined at this classic in Sandringham and it was well overdue! So glad we tried this true pub fare again as it didn’t disappoint. The Parma and pot deal on a Tuesday is winner and the Parma itself exceeded expectations in taste for a classic meal, not to mention the insanely delicious crispy beer battered chips that accompanied it. The eyefillet and gravy with mushrooms was well received and the schnitzel dish also.
The staff were friendly, attentive, the food quick and the atmosphere perfect by the fire on a rainy winters night.

Located just a stones throw from the coast is Hobson Stores, a rustic classic pub and dining venue which quite a eclectic styling. I couldn’t see much of this sitting at the front of the bar looking out at bay glimpses but I was helped along by a pint of their namesake draught beer... The Hobson Stores Draught. Nice crisp and fresh. Although I had to leave as were meeting people across the road, the menu here looks like something I would come back for another time.
