This place is an absolute institution. I came here for the first time in 2009 and returned recently, and I'm sure it's only become better. The waiter was kind enough to offer a small change to a pizza to make it vegetarian for my friend, and both the napolitana and funghi were incredible. Not too doughy, a generous amount of toppings and just the right size. We ordered a bottle of bubbles and another drink each, and the bill came to $120 for the two of us. Not too bad at all for a lovely afternoon out.
Family friendly venue with a spacious layout. I had the calabrese pizza which was very nice. Nice and friendly service. The wooden chairs could do with an upgrade as they are a little small and uncomfortable.
Yum! Calabrese and capriciosa pizzas were delicious. Large enough to share but you probably wouldn't want to. Menu is quite simple but that's not a bad thing. The tiramisu was good, heavy on the coffee flavour. Served in a coffee cup so you don't get much.

Mr Wolf is a St Kilda pizza institution. Located in a perfect spot on Inkerman St just near Barkly, Twosheds’ clan has been coming here for years for the outstanding pizza. We rate this one of the best pizza joints in Melbourne. The pizzas are thin crusted - in true Italian style - and innovative. There are the classics on offer - think cappricciosa and margherita - but also the daily specials which are magnificent. We had asparagus, artichoke and prosciutto with a light Italian cheese (not a tomato based pizza) and it was just sublime. For those who don’t eat pizza, there are a variety of other Italian inspired dishes which are also beautifully executed. The wine list is also fantastic - lots of Italian delights here: we had a Pinot and a Nero d’Avola. The staff are fantastic. You won’t regret trying this place.

Staff here are friendly and attentive.
or atleast the time we went there was.
plenty of items in the menu and plenty of alcohol,
good local place to sit/dine/drink.
pity they close early
I gave them a 4 due to the outside seating made us felt cramped and exposed
Been looking for a good pizza place in Melbourne away from Carlton and stumbled across this one. Amazing pizza and worth the visit. Service is friendly and helpful. Food is fresh and yummy. Margherita is my favourite
Ordered mains (pizzas) and deserts. The pizzas are probably one of the best i have had in Melbourne (with Il Forno in Hampton) but you certainly pay for the privilege.... very expensive for a pizza. The deserts were certainly a good size portion for what you payed (I had a semifredo) and were nice but i would not go overboard. Only reason I could not score higher was due to very very slow service (had to prompt waiters a few times) and the cost of the food.
Came in for a late lunch on a Sunday and was surprised to see it wasn't busy. Service was friendly and the food was good. Calamari fritte was a little bland but the warm octopus was great! My favourite was probably the eggplant fritte. Delicious.
I thought it was odd that they set the table with cloth napkins but then have the cutlery in a paper pocket on top.... However, table setting choices aside, we had a good lunch.
Friday was no ordinary day at the office. My workplace allows each employee two paid days to volunteer and my team chose to do this together in St. Kilda so I found myself out of the office and Southside. What a big adventure!. We broke for lunch at 12 and given it wasn't my 'hood, we relied on team members whose 'hood it is for a lunch plan and one was made very quickly and efficiently. A phone call was made whilst we were en route and we were told they would have a table for the 10 of us. As we arrived they were just unlocking the doors!

With a craving for pizza, I sniffed out Mr Wolf, which offers over a dozen possible, authentic pizza topping decisions. I opted for a delicious combo of tomato, mozzarella, parmigiano, salami, peppers, olives and chilli.
Unpretentious and simple, it is a great place to bring kids. However, If sans kids, definitely ask to be seated in the bar area next door – it’s has a great vibe.
One of the best pizza places I have ever been. The Pizza Margherita is a must-try from Mr Wolf’s kitchen. Coming back again soon 👍🏻
The food is amazing- actually amazing! So flavoursome. Service was great also. Served by a lovely gentleman who was very helpful and genuine. But the food is honestly sensational. Pizza and pasta both were some of the best we’ve had. Do yourself a favour and enjoy the best of Italian comfort food at this place!
This is the best place where you can buy pizza at its best. Best pizza I’ve taste so far. Awesome crust with great tasting and fresh ingredients. The staff are incredible and doing an amazing job!
Hello Lockdown 5.0!!😭😭
Can’t believe just last week we were strolling down St Kilda beach and then stopped by @mrwolf_stkilda for an amazing date night!💗
Started off with some beautiful wine and their Polpette which was absolutely divine.
Veal and pork meatballs dunked in a delicious tomato sugo.
And then attacked their Funghi Pizza and Salsicce Pizza🍕🍕
The Funghi had to be our favourite! I loved the way they treated mushrooms in different ways. That Porcini paste was yum!!
Sad to see so many businesses having to shut again but these guys are still open for takeaway and delivery so please do support them!!
Highly recommend!
Legit best pizza I've had in a long time. So good.
Don’t believe the review that complains about the new owners, yeah there new owners but the menu, the chef is all the same as before, the best pizza in the area by far, friendly wait staff, nice salads too, also the owners are lovely people, was nice to chat with one of them as I waited.
Amazing Romana style pizzas. Crispy crust. Delicious toppings. Great service.
$15 pizzas on Wednesday nights! Bargain price for such amazing pizza
Truly staggering pizzas.
I ordered the special, which you'll see in photo two, and I am crippled by anxiety that I may never be able to taste it again.
The staff are friendly and attentive, and the restaurant is filled with light. It's a St Kilda institution.
