Do yourself a favour and eat here!! Went on TripAdvisor and found this cafe as #1 for breakfast- it did not disappoint. Outstanding food, attentive and friendly wait staff and made sure our children were occupied with colouring books and pencils. Cake selection was second to none. Will be back.
Friendly staff and delicious food and drinks made our visit great. The chicken burger and chicken & mushroom pot pie were both tasty and beautifully presented and our caramel latte and hot chocolate were yummy too. Would definitely recommend Cafe Alfons 👌
This was my breakfast place during my stay in Gold Coast, it was near my AirBnb. A lovely setting, lovely food, lovely staff. Not too heavy on pocket.
Staff were so friendly. I had the corn fritters and they are 10/10, hollandaise was perfect as were the fritters. Highly recommend. Some vego options available.
Nice casual cafe with quick and friendly service. Varied breakfast menu and excellent refreshing juices. Would dine here again but with limited indoor seating it would get hot in summer.
Diana. Very attentive, friendly, impeccable service. We had breakfast here recently & although I made the wrong choice of scrambled egg (which I vow never to do again, I have this thing about scrambled eggs, they have to be fresh eggs, not that powdered rubbish which seems to turn into tasteless, soggy wet, string) My partner did make a good choice however, he said the savoury mince was one of the tastiest he has had. Another let down was the coffee, we asked for it hot & it came out luke warm. With another choice of breakfast for myself I think Alfons would have been a winner though
Great food, Great Service. Had breakfast yesterday here as we had a Mothers Day voucher. The Food and service was excellent. Highly Recommend.
Made a breakfast booking specifically for the açai bowl, but unfortunately they ran out.
Had banana bread instead, which was nice as it didn’t come with the standard butter. It had a side of cinnamon butter. The b.l.a.t was enjoyed, as were the scrambled eggs. Coffee was good too.
Was a lovely place to have breakfast, the staff were awesome and looked after you and the service was really quick. We had the big breakfast which was yummy and the fresh juice was great. Would highly recommend this place and i will be coming here again.
This Cafe, on Chevron Island was very nice. I stopped in at 06:30 on a Sunday Morning for a hot chocolate and carrot cake. The hot chocolate was nice and hot, as most cafe's tend to make the hot chocolate just warm which is not as enjoyable as when it is hot! The carrot cake was yummy too! If you are passing through don't forget to take a break, and enjoy your day by stopping at cafe Alfons on Chevron Island.
Discovered this popular locals cafe entirely by accident. Had a spare 30 mins between deliveries so popped in for brekky. So glad I did. Service was quick, polite and efficient. Prices are very reasonable considering location and the food ? Wow ! Just awesome. Today (as pictured) I had the eggs benny with bacon and a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was smooth, velvety and creamy, just devine. My eggs benny were great as usual. My favourite though has to be the corn fritters with chilli jam 🤩 Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely cafe with great food and coffee on Chevron Island at the back of Surfers Paradise…potato gnocchi and the breakfast bun were good and served by a very smiley and friendly Canadian

Staff are super friendly. The donut French toast is great with an extra ice cream. Only that a little too sweet for brunch🤣
