Have not been back over three years so took the advantage of Groupon deal again to revisit this restaurant last night. Business was not very busy and there were totally three tables at the period that we dined in there. Service is attentive and friendly. The Black Angus Charcuterie was done slightly over for those portions near the rim otherwise spot-on with med-rare. The overall size of the broad seemed under-expected; however, it fit us well because we were not hungry last night.

Took the Groupon deal to have three tiers seafood platter at this restaurant located on the ground floor of Crowne Plaza. Out table was arranged near the pool side. It was so good to look over the nice view through the window while we were enjoying the seafood. I found the service was so hospitable with hotel standard and the food was supplied with plenty of seafood varieties including oysters, prawns, smoked salmon, bay bugs, tempura prawns, spanner crabs etc. Hero of the night was the tempura prawns. Although it was different to the Japanese style tempura (don't know why western chef always named the fried prawn as tempura, indeed, tempura prawn's batter is completely different), the batter was so crunchy and melted in the mouth. Definitely the deep-fried prawns deserve thumb-up. I think the beauty of having dinner here is the in-house car parking facility, which it so handy....
Yummaye. Fresh and deep fried seafood was so good. Service was good, expected though since its in the crowne hotel. Grabbed juice instead of sparkling wine. Nice view of outdoor pool. Nice chips and salad on the side.
Came here for the seafood tower. We are usually skeptical with seafood platters & towers as the seafood is usually of poor quality. This was an exception however. We were delighted with the quality & freshness of the seafood particularly the smoked mackerel (great addition to a platter by the way) & the battered barramundi. Chips were served separately (another great concept) along with a separate salad bowl with crisp fresh leaves & tomatoes. The crabs were also better than we have previously had in other establishments, I think they may have been frozen, but they still had great flavor in the claw meat, very sweet & tender. Enjoyed a beautiful glass of sparkling wine & the service was also top notch. All up a great night so thank you
Sharing a seafood platter (nicely arranged on 3 tiers), we enjoyed the high quality of the fresh oysters, prawns and spanner crab. The Moreton Bay bug was on the small side, but tasty. Smoked salmon and particularly smoked mackerel were delicious. The battered barramundi was succulent although the batter was on the thick side. Salt & Pepper calamari was generally well cooked. Several dipping sauces and a small salad rounded off the experience (as well as the mandatory chips - too many for our taste).Drinks menu highlighted range of beverages to suit -we tried the house sparkling wine by the glass that was quite acceptable.
Went here for dinner tonight, was greeted by friendly, professional staff, one in particular named Ustav. The waitstaff were attentive and helped us choose the best meals. We all agreed that the steaks were outstanding, the best we have had in a long time. The red wine jus was incredible and the food came out fast. The restaurant had a pleasant view. We really loved our experience with Relish and I couldn't rate it less then perfect.
Great friendly service overlooking the pool so very pleasant. Best steak and fish we had eaten in a long time. Service was quick with attentive staff. Loved it and will come back again
Our breakfast experience was exceptional!! We stayed at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in early August. The staff were friendly & helpful & I tried eggs benedict for the first time in my life. It definitely did not disappoint!! All of the food tasted great & the view from the breakfast table was beautiful!!
Fantastic hospitality from staff member Miroslav. He was polite & attentive. The food was delicious, fresh with plenty of flavour; cooked perfectly. Their menu offers options for those with food intolerances.
Fresh juice machine a winner. With just about everyone having their fair share of questionable hotel breakfast buffet experiences, Relish was a welcome change. The quality and freshness of the buffet was good and even better it tasted good! There were a few differences which made the buffet including a choice of chicken or veal sausages, eggs cooked choice of 3 ways and the make your own fresh juice with the real deal juicer choices including choice of pineapple, watermelon,carrot and ginger - great way to start the day.
Service was attentive with several offers to refresh the coffee and teas.
