Exceptional, just what we wanted to finish off our night. As simple as it comes, basic well-cooked and seasoned steak with chips and salad. Live music was nice, the highlight was the silver fox behind the bar. I assume he owned the place, if not he took pride as though he did. Food was great
The gentleman at the bar is a true gentleman . Ordered a beer and instantly he put it in a cooler . Lovely atmosphere and so very friendly . Cheers will be telling my friends about this little beauty
Really nice ambience in the heart of an otherwise hectic nightlife area! If you're after something more sophisticated on your surfer's night out then this place provides an elegant option. Quiet enough to hold a conversation but often with soulful live music, you can enjoy a meal or a casual cocktail. Bar tenders offer conversation which is a refreshing touch amongst the other local options. Look forward to returning later this year!
Really good sized meals and great prices. Extensive drinks list. Friendly service. Only gripe was that we had to follow up where a kids meal was for our 18 month old - six adults eating and nothing for the little one made for an upset bub.
Eve makes the Best French martinis ever..!! And Kristy deserves a chefs kiss for her serving skills.. very friendly staff amazing atmosphere great live music.. everyone needs to visit..!! Would definitely recommend..!! 5 stars
Don’t usually add reviews but we had such a wonderful experience, this place deserves all the accolades. Fantastic, friendly and helpful staff and great food made for a brilliant night for our fam. Such a good vibe.
Nothing beats live music alongside great hospitality and The Local Tavern definately delivers. The combination of high quality acoustic musicians and genuinely honest and friendly staff The Local Tavern creates an inviting atmosphere so inviting that you won't want to leave. I recommend stopping in for meal, or even a drink at the bar.
