Where to start. Amazing affordable and addictive. I cannot recommend enough
Really tasty food, this place is a must for our family every time we visit Surfers.
I’m Korean, and my family and I thought the food tasted exactly like authentic food from Korea! Don’t be intimidated by the alleyway dining experience, the food is AMAZING
Best hangover cure (for Asian stomach lol ) after a hard night out, great value and super tasty. Most of the meal deal come with crispy seaweed, and kimchi. Definitely come back try other dishes !!!
Nice little restaurant. I went for the grilled Baby Octopus which would be very good if some of the pieces wouldn't be a bit like rubber. The overall flavor was good. Miso soup included.
Sounds like my favourite place in the world. I LOVE kimchi, I need kimchi all the time. Even on a 2.5 day trip I couldn't go without kimchi? lol
Anyway quite hard to find, it was hidden away, but the smell helped in leading the way.
It was a whole lot of kimchi, kimchi, kimchi. We ordered kimchi stew, bibimbap, and tofu kimchi salad. Kept in the fridge for a few hours and then heated up at night and eaten but still good. The portions were decent and the price was ok.
The staff who took my order was so helpful and nice.
Been here twice with friends. It is by far the best Korean food I've had on the Gold Coast. It is hard to find, and the alleyway is somewhat claustrophobic, however it makes up for it as the food is brilliant. Love their coupon idea, after a number of meals, you receive a free lunch box. Pricing is good, and lunch deals are on point. Would recommend.
Danny, he's the most personable owner I've ever met in a restaurant. I have been ordering the tofu bibimbap for the last 2 weeks non-stop. Every friend I've bought here has absolutely loved it. And such reasonable prices and serves. 100% recommend!
Enjoyed the beef bimbimbap and the kimchijeon. Great quick bite to eat and very reasonably priced. Bimbimbap was more than enough for one person and included red sauce so you could adjust the heat level to your preference.
Great food with friendly staff, the chef seemed to be friends with a lot of the customers. I had the bibimbap set and loved it, my mother got the beef bulgogi which was a bit too salty for her but i still loved it. the kimchi was amazingg
My family ordered 5 dishes for dinner on the first day and after eating, we told the man-in-charge, "We will be back here tmr!" We recommend the beef bolgogi, seafood tofu jigae, vegetarian bibimbap, seafood pancake and the beef claypot (the soup is to die for)
It is also not very pricey, I think the prices range from $9 to $15 and it is very filling too! Really great restaurant I feel :)
Good bulgogi, quick service, good price. Other diners look happy with their meal too. Struggling to do the 140 character limit which is crazy when you just want to say the food is good
The place is hidden in a small alleyway, the shop is small, the staff are friendly. We ordered beef bibimbap set and kimchi pork bulgogi set, great value and tasty, but the kimchi is too acid.
My meal at kimchi house was overall good! The staff were friendly and welcoming, and there was really nice Korean music on. The ingredients were all really fresh, the food was hot, and the portions were huge. The price is really fair as well. The miso soup was amazing, but the tofu bibimbap wasn’t that memorable. It just seemed like it was missing something. However, I would still recommend this place for sure.
Definitely five star. Lovely small Korean restaurant, reasonable price and the food is beyond my expectation. This place is better than most of Korean restaurants in Melbourne. 😭😭😭sad
Stopped by for lunch at this gem hidden inside an uninspiring arcade, they had plenty of $10 lunch specials. I ordered the pork kimchi bibimbap which also came with miso soup. Staff were lovely with attentive setvice and the food was very tasty. Would visit again for a good cheap feed.
One of (if not) the best find in Gold Coast so far.. Very homie.. I ordered a Pork Belly Bulgogi, it comes with a rice, kimchi on the side and also a bowl of Miso Soup.. All that is for $15.. And when it came to our table, my goodness, the portion of the bulgogi is actually can be shared for two if you're not really hungry.. I was quite hungry when I came here and now I feel like I'm in a food coma.. It tastes good as well! Def will be back if I ever comes back to Surfers Paradise..
The food here is very good quality and big serving sizes, i Order the cheese buldak quite regularly comes with soup, rice and kimchi and only $15 excellent value for money
Great Korean restaurant hidden away down a little walk way. Low price, very filling, food comes out quickly.
