It's a good place to eat afghani food with reasonable prices... delicious food and best location in Gold Coast as it is 2 minutes walk to the beach. would recommend it to everyone...
Had the chicken Briyani today for lunch absolutely delicious ! So much rice with meat ! I loved every morsel , so much more to try ! Will be back for more . So glad I found this hidden gem
I have visited this restaurant and was amazed by the great customer service. I ordered take away food — pulao & minced lamb skewers .... absolutely amazed by the the pulao .. long grain rice, raisins, lamb meats, salad (yumm tomato chutney )... fragrance, quality and quantity 5/5 ..... chutney 200/100👍👍👍👍👍
Delicious Kababs and outstanding service..
I usually order the chicken and lamb Kabab, they melt in your mouth! If you visit, make sure to ask for grilled tomatoes on the side, YUM..

Very authentic kebabs and really reasonable price. The staff of very polite and friendly. The pulow and the grills were very succulent. The mantoo was the winner.

Holy moly!!! This place is def a gem in surfers. Now, normally I avoid surfers as it's mostly a vomit bucket. This place has got waaayyyy better kebabs than the pricey Shiraz (right in front of the store btw) for a 1/3 of the price. $16 for a freaking 3-skewer mixed grill bro, if ur walking into Shiraz and u see this place on ur way in, do yourself a favor and turn around and come here. You're gonna have a better feed for way cheaper. Good service.
Had Bolani as an entree (fried bread with potato and onion inside with a bit of spice), it was delicious.
Tasty mince kebab and chicken kebab. Fresh bread was great. Chicken biryani was also perfect (rice was well cooked) and lovely spices used. Dishes came with a small side of salad and fresh lime and dips/sauce. Also had traditional yoghurt drink very cheap and delicious. Big portions and really good prices. And finally baqlava was yummy. Very polite and friendly owner.

5 stars just for the kebab. As a charcoal kebab aficionado, this place delivered. The mantu (spiced beef dumpling) was amazing. The kebab is served with a huge serving of Afghan rice but i would have liked if there were more carrots and maybe lamb intermixed, as per the authentic way as its quite difficult to eat a huge serving of rice.
Came here for Biryani Chicken takeaway. Wasn't expecting much as it only cost 10 bucks. We are all wowed by the quality and quantity of this dish. It's very flavoursome and the fresh. Even better we have some leftover for the next day. The fact that it tasted as good the following day amazed us. Strongly recommend and would definitely come back.
Got takeaway here and it was freshly prepared. I got the mix grill platter with rice. Food is amazingly tasty, freshly prepared and value for money! Hearty wholesome tasty meal! Service was quick and with a smile. Truly appreciate.
Had Biryani and Manto. The biryani was very yummy with the right amount of masala and the chicken was also great considering I don't eat chicken. The Manto on the other hand was very bland imo compared to the masala Biryani.
The Biryani was a 10/10.
absolutely amazed by the minced lamp skewers.. ate every last pice.. we had كبسة لحم the lamp was really good as well but the rice was really disappointing.. it was tasteless and nothing like the picture. However, I would highly recommend the place and i will pay them another visit!

The best halal food in surfers by far! 👳🕌 Afghan charcoal flavors are exceptional, meal size and price is very fair, service friendly and humble. Absolutely the best. Always satisfied so I eat from their menu often.
Had the mixed grill..3 grilled meats...lamb, minced lamb, chicken.. With a big Egyptian flatbread... All the beats delicious and the bread too. A great meal for $22. Can't wait to bring the family and try some more stuff
The food was so delicious. The lamb rice was cooked to perfection with the meat falling off the bone and the lamb kebab was a food coma. The food is reasonably priced and our experience was complimented well with their amazing service. A must try when I sunshine coast!
