An absolute gem on the Gold Coast. Great ambience, friendly and efficient staff all add to the dining experience. Pork Dim Sum, Coconut Prawns and Calamari to die for start the meal. Star of the feast, Peking Duck is next and it is superb. Duck San Choy Bao finishes off proceedings and I can guarantee diners will leave satisfied.
Really enjoyed this place. You can get traditional Chinese dishes here, cooked well. Best Beijing Duck I have had outside Beijing (my wife is from Beijing and was really impressed also). A very pleasant surprise to find it on the Gold Coast while we are here for a long weekend. The family who run the restaurant were very welcoming and friendly. Order in advance to avoid waiting for duck to arrive.
Best customer service I have ever seen in any chinese restaurants. The lady is super nice and so is the chef (possibly Charlie). We had an issue with one of the dishes and it was quickly solved and well handled. Hats off to all of the staffs and the chef!
FYI: when Charlie Men’s said there’s no MSG, there isn’t any!
Best of the best! Please do yourself a favour and visit this lovely family business that only brings perfection to your table. Every dish is so well made and tastes authentic. This is the best Chinese restaurant on the coast in my opinion.

Rating: outperforming the market. Value for your money
Food quality: if you want to try Peking duck, this restaurant is the must-go. Having visited almost all of the restaurants serving Peking duck, without doubt, it is the most authentic one. I am looking forward to tasting their other dishes of Shandong Cuisine which is one of the most famous eight Chinese cuisines, as the Chief is originally from Shandong province.
Service: it is a family business. You can clearly feel their passion, commitment and true love for food. The boss is the Chief as well as a super friendly and warm-hearted person. The whole family just follows his lead and can make you feel at home for sure. Please keep in your mind, due to the limited supply as it is a family business, they do not offer delivery service. If you want to try Peking duck or other popular dishes, a reservation is needed.
Location: Quite a convenient location, close to Surfer’s paradise and Southport. Easy to drive to. Having plenty of parking spots outside the restaurant. Also, you can have a nice view of the river in the restaurant, such an ideal place to have a nice dinner with friends and families, a quiet and nice place.
Price: definitely value for money.

Its best duck Restaurant on the Coast me and my husband went to Beijing had a duck there few times, This Beijing Duck is not much different than the way in Beijing. The owner Charlie is such a nice guy, he gave us a free birthday ice cream cake. We will go back for sure
