Very clean & Modern & very roomy. Heaps better than the previous visits.... Food was great & services was also great, enjoy the night. Would recommend their Deep Fry Spicy Mushrooms & the Deep Fry Spicy White Bait, Mussells in special sauce is a must try. The new owners have spent a lot of time in refurbishing this place. Well done guys, Keep up the lovely food. Would recommend this place to all my friends & families.

Love the Diamond Chinese Restaurant at Sutherland. Excellent food & service. Always polite & cheerful. The new owners have taken time to give this place a facelift & it looks very welcoming, nice & clean & bright. Would suit young & old. They also take pride in their cooking of the foods. Well, I would certainly recommend this place to anyone that likes to try out their food & beautiful decos.
Went there for the first time on Saturday night.
Besides an extremely rude customer, as mentioned by someone else who had an issue with his delivery , that the staff had given plenty of options to the customer to rectify and saw fit to abuse the staff in person, its an amazing experience.
Great friendly service and took me back to the same type of atmosphere, as when I was a kid and we went and had Chinese food.
This restaurant is a classic, old style Australian Chinese restaurant and well worth your patronage.
Ohh what a night, food & service was great until a rude customer came stomping into the restaurant & abuse the staff, such a drama king, has no respect for others in the restaurant. People like that should just cook their own food & not ruin other people night out. I feel sorry for the poor staff that copped it.
Best Chinese food I've had in Sydney by far. Such a great menu, big portions and is never greasy. Chinese can feel like a cheat meal but not Diamond - it's quality food without the grease. Absolutely love it there for takeaway and dine in. So yum!
Diamond is not fancy, but the food is superb, the service wonderful, and dining there is competitive in terms of price. I'm always happy going back there, and ordering home delivery. Highly recommend!
We go to this restaurant regularly and it's usually always busy of a Saturday night. Very nice food and friendly staff. A reasonably small restaurant but cosy adding to its charm. Highly recommended. I overheard a group of 4 middle aged patrons commenting on the price and couldn't believe they got change out of $80 for the four of them. Recommend making a reservation for Saturday night. It's also BYO.

Have been eating from here for 20 years and have never had a disappointing meal.
Lunch takeaway is very well priced. Staff treat all customers the same, with respect.
Cannot recommend Diamond Chinese enough for a succulent Chinese meal.
