What a beautiful venue, i came here to celebrate my 30th birthday for lunch. We had a table near the window which i would suggest requesting, as the views are spectacular.
Classic Park Hyatt quality in a beautiful setting. Great wine selection and good seafood. Perfect for a birthday celebration with friends or a pre opera dinner
Mum and I enjoyed a wonderful Saturday long lunch at the Dining Room. Everything was great: food, service and seating. Mum thought her main course blue eye cod was ok only (hence taken off 1 Star) but she perked up after the amazing desserts. Looking forward to coming back for dinner during Vivid Sydney!
Park Hyatt Sydney's signature restaurant. The Dining Room offers unrivalled waterfront views of Sydney Harbour through floor-to-ceiling glass windows, creating an idyllic location to enjoy the freshest of modern European cuisine, made with seasonal, sustainable Australian ingredients and artisan produce. With modern interiors of warm, neutral tones a striking contrast to the blue of the harbour, the relaxed yet casual elegance of our restaurant is ideal for lingering lunches, business meetings and romantic dinners. Enjoy an elegant, long lunch with family and friends or a business lunch with our simple one, two or three course menus, served with a complimentary glass of sommelier selected wine
This place was spectacular! I visited and had the "Feed me" shared set menu 6- courses. It was such a great experience since the items I would not usually order on the menu, I got to taste and it's great to always explore new foods.
Food came out very fast and it wasn't a long wait in between courses. The service was also great. The only downfall was, the restaurant was pretty dark and since it was by the water (great view btw), I got mauled by mosquitos and by the end of my meal I had so many bumps on my legs :(
SO ladies, if you're planning to visit, wear pants during summer or visit in colder weather!
The Dining Room Park Hyatt is a situated at The Rocks. The restaurant serves great food and has a great view of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
Had the Kangaroo tartare. Was surprisingly bland. But followed it up with the wagu rib eye off the bone medium rare. Absolutely melt in the mouth. 10/10 steak. Service very good.
Park Hyatt’s ‘Dining Room’ has the most spectacular dining views in Sydneytown. And equally matched delectable food, scallops were juicy and served with saffron and chorizo pearl cous cous, the spiced broth added a punch of flavour. Oysters were served fresh with shallot and red wine mignonette.
The dining room is the perfect spot for special occasions and the festive season.
This place never disappoints me. We’ve been here a couple of times and just took parents there for mum’s birthday this weekend. Staff are very friendly and food very fresh and delicious, most importantly the view is very nice overlooking at the harbour and Opera House. We will come back again.
Great location with a lovely ambience
Service was great and attentive!
Wanted to try everything on the menu but highlights were definitely the cauliflower veloute, monkfish fillet and kangaroo tartare. The tartare was such a winner and definitely a must try at the Dining Room!
However, unfortunately the chocolate tart and figs were quite underwhelming to finish our meal off.
My friends and I had an amazing experience in The Dining Room. Everything from the staffs to the food are on point. We were absolutely satisfied with what we had that night. Not to mention the view of Opera House from our table 👌🏻 Highly recommended
Oh my goodness, I really want to rave about The Dining Room's Christmas Dinner! Wow! This is our second visit and I cannot fault them (not trying to). We had 1 person in our group with Coeliac Disease and she could have the complete menu. This is very rare, anyone with allergies would know. This is our second visit for Christmas and I really hope it's becoming a tradition. Thank you to the staff at The Dining Room for looking after us on Christmas night it was perfect 👌
I came here a few times already for anniversaries and birthdays. The experience was always really nice, great customer service and amazing view of the Opera house. Just the food wasn’t super good.
Price: not too expensive, okay for special night out.
Food: pretty good and the dishes looks good!
Service: just standard.
Drinks: over priced for me.
The atmosphere was good, tables are bit too close each other tho.
If I go again? Yes.

One year anniversary after our wedding at the venue and chefs did not disappoint. Kingfish was off the charts although so was the tenderloin. Vino was fantastic- well done sommelier 👌
Food was delicious although very small portions even when you order 3 courses, I left still really hungry. Service was pretty good however extremely awkward when they bring the bill and ask to you face “would you like to leave a tip”. A waiter should never ask this, if I want to I will and if I don’t then I will not.
